I really like when you do a period based videos. They always give a very good perspective of the variety of animals that lived during a certain part of the Earth's history. Also I'm always blown away by your coloration designs for the animals. As someone who usually draws single colored sketches I admire artists who are able to come up with such great patterns for creatures

Ahh the Jurassic Period. Not only my favourite period of the dinosaurs but also had almost all of my favourite dinosaurs living in it,great job on this!
The Jurassic period always fascinated me the most as a kid. My favorite Jurassic creature would definitely be liopleurodon. I remember always hearing about it in books and then seeing it in that one episode of walking with dinosaurs. I remember thinking that it was the coolest prehistoric creature ever (even if the one in walking with dinosaurs is way too big lol). Anyway I loved the video! I think my favorite creature design was the ceratosaurus. It looks so beautiful!
Walking with dinos was such an incredible show. Ahhhhhhhh the nostalgia. my favourite jurassic carnivore is ornitholestes and my favourite jurassic herbivore is brachiosaurus or diplodocus. I know I'm basic. My favourite dino out of all 3 periods is parasaurolophus

My favorite animal/dinosaur from the Jurassic Period, is the infamous Saurophaganax, and this size comparison is also amazing as well.
But there are not much fossil evidence of saurophaganax maximus

It's incredible how large animals can get. It really makes you feel like an ant when you see creatures such as Giraffatitan or Argentinosaurus.
It’s because oxygen levels were higher back in the day
And it makes you feel like an Elephant if you see smaller species like Velociraptor or Agreroraptor
And it makes you feel like a bacteria when you look at the universe
@@fireboltaz that only goes for insects dude, i thought this myth was gone, listen, dinosaurs were so big because they had specialized organs, like hollow bones and airsacs, that made them light, but kept their strength, also, there was lower oxygen back then
honestly, i love the jurassic because of something that can only be truly explained with a full block of text

Everyone seems to be to prefer the Cretaceous dinosaurs but honestly I’d take Crylophosaurus, Chilesaurus or Saurophagnax/Allosaurus Maximus over something like T. rex anyday

My favourite Dinosaur from the Jurassic is probably Neovenator, it's quite an interesting Dinosaur because it is seen as an member of the Allosauridae but could also be a relative of the Carnosaurs.
Neovenator is Cretaceous.

Never realized how big dilophosaurus actually was. Jurassic world’s dilophosaurus is tiny in comparison.

Well scales come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes, they can be as smooth and small as avian scales or as big and protruding as iguana or crocodilian scales.
Another important thing to note is that most scales are pentagon shaped meaning they have 5 sides but some have 6 or even 4 sides.

dilophosaurus underrated dino. the apex predator of the early jurassic not many know it was the biggest carnivore during its time. they were a lot more badass than people think

Jurassic birds were very primitive ooga booga versions of birds. In the Jurassic pterosaurs had the limelight, ruled the skies and were everywhere all over the place.
In the Cretaceous birds took over, forcing the surviving pterosaurs to grow to gargantuan sizes and take weird mutant shapes just to survive because they could no longer do what flying creatures normally do. All the niches pterosaurs once occupied had been take over by birds.
