Excellent Tutorial. Just loaded BIAB on my iMAC. I’ve become the proverbial ‘Kid in a Candy Store’. This tutorial is an immense leap. Thanks for posting.
WOW! I've been trying to fiture out how to change patches for months, and making intros is awesome. Thank You so much for this video. (Still working on that ending thing though as for sync licensing, need that button down ending and it has to snap if I want placements. I'll get it though. Thank You agian. Awesome techniques with Band In A Box.
This is a really useful vid. I've been using BIAB on and off for a number of years, but only to make basic backing tracks. I'm doing song recording now, and this has given me some great new tips. Thanks so much.
How were you able to get the 3 chord variations in the likes of bar 10, 11, 26 etc... I need to make a bar that has "G and A" in the first half and then "D" chord the second half of a bar, but cannot see how to do this, the bar only splits into 2 halves... Great tuturial!
very nice. Like many of the comments I'm been using different forms of BIAB for decades and never knew this stuff. I usually just export to another DAW to mess with the details.Guess I should have followed the instructions years ago!
Instead of adding an intro, is there a way to just select the chords you want for an intro and designate them as an intro? The reason I'm asking is because I want to write my own chord progression for a whole song, input it into BIAB, and then designate what is Intro, Verse, PreCh, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus, Outro and have variations in each section.
You could use the Audio Chord Wizard to analyze an existing audio file and take that chord progression into Band-in-a-Box. @@christyhierz-siebauer7975 I'll second that. I use headphones to watch and could here all the background conversations, Excellent content on the Video.
Hi really love your demo can you please tell me what version you are using is it a folder version or the latest version, I am thinking of purchasing band in a box which version would you reccomend ? I am assuming that the latest version has more features
This video was created when Band-in-a-Box 2018 was available, which is what you see. We have version 2020 now, which includes this feature, and 100+ more features compared to the 2018 version. www.pgmusic.com
Thanks for the video. You might consider increasing your pointer size to large and making it a bright colour for those of us with visual challenges. BIAB is difficult to learn without videos. It is not an intuitive interface.
This is a great tutorial but I could never understand why companies do presentations to deliver great content with really awfully poor visuals. I wonder doesn't anyone at PG music look the video and say to them the visuals could have been clearer. SMH
Thanks for the video. I been using biab since 2015 and i learned more in 10 minutes of your video than the last 5 years.

This is marred by extraneous events - a ringing phone and constant background chatter from a TV or somebody else in the room.
You’re such a genius using BIAB this I have never seen, thank you!😎🎼🎸🎹
Some great ideas here, thank you for posting!

How did you put the phone effect?
I was trying to figure that out myself.😎
Where's the bridge?

Can you use a vocal melody , a humm , or to use instead of putting in keys manually ???

Would be helpful if you introduced arranger keyboard functions. Such as 4 preset variations per style which you can simply choose when to insert.
Great suggestion! We've started our list of video requests... stay tuned!
You need to find a quiet place to make these videos.
