If you're an addict to blocked drains, clearing chokes, tree roots, high pressure water jetting, cctv and watching an Aussie Bloke do his thing you will enjoy this channel!
Hi Gavin, I did not know about your back. I am (I imagine I dare to say we all here are) very happy you could climb back on the train.
Congratulations. Much respect! Cheers.
1. Back problems are no joke and am glad you have recovered to get back to business 😁 hang in there!
Saxon is gonna be so happy in the morning to see the scary monster penetrator 😍
Don't worry, his Dinosaur will protect him! 👍
Glad he likes it 👍
Lateral view of the nozzle working at 14:07. First time I have seen this shot :)
hey mate, just like to say. I appreciate how you don't back down from any challenge. Poo, roots, wipes, etc. I always enjoy your vids. Cheers and much respect
Thank you 😊
The best part of these videos is trying to figure out the problems and solve them with him. It's like blues clues.
Excellent adventure! Temp access looks perfect for next time! Great you solved the mystery, funny how you spotted the exposed pipe and nobody's ever noticed it before.
Excellent job Gavin, really good watching all them roots getting ripped to bits, 👍
Thank you 😊
I absolutely love your dedication and tenacity when it comes to getting one of these jobs done, this one was definitely a tough one
Thank you 😊
Really enjoying this one. My favourite is always ROOTS removal 🌴🌲🌳 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
After seeing all this drainage piping and what you go through to figure out the configurations, seems like it would be an excellent idea to have maps of the entire drainage system that is a requirement when the house is built. To also include what type of pipes are used, dates laid, and any other pertinent information necessary in order to manage the system.
Your tenacity in solving the problem reminded of a line from one of my favorite movies, "Tremors". Kevin Bacon is trying to outwit the monster and quips to his partner, "This thing ain't smarter than me."
Another job well done by detective Gavin and his team. 🙂🙂
Thank you 😊
Hey Gavin, sorry to hear about your back. I can sympathize. Been there, done that- twice. 2003 & 2016, then 3 heart attacks in 2019. It's hard coming back, but what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. Cheers to ya mate from across the waters. Oh, keep the jetter this time. 😆
I like how you make for certain a job is done right, always top notch work… great job 👍👍
Thank you 😊
I had six lumbar surgeries within 2.5 years between 1996-1999, and was left with permanent sciatic nerve damage, chronic pain, and muscle atrophy leaving me with no muscle from the left knee on down into my foot. Congratulations on your recovery!
Gavin another well done job that u and the gang did for the customer. Right O 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Righto 👍
"There was movement in the gully for the word had got around, that Penetrator and his tools had come to town". (Man from Snowy River). Sue, mum from Adelaide, South Australia. 😉
I like it lol
I like these 1 hr videos! The things you find in those pipes! Great job!👍❤️
Thank you 😊
@@penetratorblockeddrains yw🤗
Will Drain Addict let you know if Cockie made it home OK? Always enjoy your videos, glad the back is better.
Drain Addict sabotage! Sending the roaches back with you Gav. Better check your luggage for other temporary residents 🤣
Haha
When you said is that Cocky I thought I was going to die laughing awesome job Mate keep up the great work and God bless you.

Hello from New Jersey! Sewer gas had me choking with you.
South Jersey , here !
Coinserdence....
I qualified in 2006 and the company I was working for went bump.
I then did other things and went back to the tools in 2018.
And your dam right that smell puts you off anything 🤮.
Was cool seeing the nossel doing its thing.
All the best mate
Good job young man. Enjoyed watching you figure out the process of clearing the drain. 👍🏼
Thank you 😊
Thanks for all the camera work along with the entertainment.
Thank you 😊
Great investigation and drain clearing. Always feels good to come to a positive outcome for the job and the customer. Good work and thanks for allowing us to come along for the journey.

A great Work all the Roots from the Drain to remove, and the Drain to repair.
Fantastic! I love a good mystery...great troubleshooting Gavin. You're so thorough. Inspector Gavin on the case 😂

That Job was never ending Gavin but you got to the problem at the end .
Great work, Gavin. Always good to see you work it all out. Love the long videos.

Loving the long vlogs Gavin especially as it was a root investigation look forward to your next one

The birds in the first part of the video sounded like they were saying "ROOTS' LOL 😆

And hope you enjoyed the remaining of the video
@@penetratorblockeddrains Hi Gavin, You found where it went. I wasnt sure if you would. When you got sprayed, on instinct i jumped back, coffee went all over me. So we both got soaked...Lol 🤣🤣. Great result for the homeowner. See you there in another 12months. Stay Safe 👍👍🤗
Blooming heck, sorry to hear about your back, thankfully it look like you're back working 💪.
Great job, thanks for sharing
It’s 35C here in Southern Ontario Canada today. What is cold where you are? Thanks again for another great video. Nice to hear a bit of your backstory and congratulations on rebuilding your business. Something that’s very difficult to do. Keep going forward, we all enjoy your videos and your commentary, along with your workmates. Mary in Canada
Thank you 😊
Yes here in the UK we still have a lot of “soakaways” used for rain water.
Hi Gavin hope all is well keep up the good work love watching you on RUclips
Thank you 👍
Mystery root investigation and removal solved! 👍😊🧤🔦
Thank you 😊
Glad your back healed. 🎊🎉
Great job Gavin you always get the job done have a great week
Thank you 😊
SALUDOS GAVIN FROM CLIFTON N.J. ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. G.B.Y.
Hell of a job. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up
Thank you 😊
Great vid as always. And thanks for the backstory. Hope your back is much better. Hey, what happened to the new/expensive gray hose you were considering?
Have to hang around and see what happens 😉
Loved this one, I ducked when (at 30 somewhat minutes) you missed your mark and got sprayed. 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha
Big Bertha had a root breakfast well done !!
Nom nom
At least you found the outlet!!
I was very surprised haha
Once he lead you to that mini jungle, you should turned to him and barked, _“GD Tarzan, you expect Cheeta to clean the forest too🤨?”_ 😂
The damage roots can do in just a little bit of time is unbelievable.
Lots of work, great job as always !
Thank you 😊
I love that a little fan gave you a “monster”.
Excellent job and thanks for bringing encouragement through work, because approximately 3 Months ago I had a TLIF fusion in the back.
Flowing like a river.....👍
A very good Monday evening to you 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🤠🤠🤠
Evening David
Love watching your videos
Glad you like them!
That was an epic job❤
Nicely done. On a side note you should have used a little penetrator to go down the storm water pipe to make you a path for the big jitter
How come the pressure does not damage the pipes? ? ?
Love the steggy
It's amazing just how fast tree roots can grow BACK after only a couple of years. Chockered pipes don't help much either.
Good solution offered to this questionable existing drain.
Acetone will clean up uncured silicone. Denatured alcohol will also work decent.
Wonderful job!!
Thank you 😊
Great job! What is the quote tattoo on your right arm? I've tried to read it, but your arm is always moving. 🤣
Nice job , as always !!! 👍👍👍 Cheers mate !
🐸 Is there ANY problem Gavin can't solve ? ? ?
Great powers of observation and forensic examination ! ! !
Haha
You and those ryobi tools 😳🤣
sewer gas breakfest of champions
Crikey mate.... nice little job there. 👍 One thing, don't the homeowners know anything about cleaning/maintaining their properties eh? More work for you at the end of the day but christ... a little bit of simple ongoing maintenance would not hurt or kill any of them🙄. Anyway great video... thanks for sharing. 👊
Great video mate. As always. 😉👊👊
Thank you 😊
Legend!
You get more roots than Rodney Rude😂😂
Best video!
Thank you 😊
Here to see the frog 😂😂
It sounds like a didgeridoo at the end! Lol😂
Bet they loved the bi for this sneaky storm water fix haha
That dinosaurs name is Saxon!!
What's the reason that the above-ground right-angle sewer bends aren't required to be the ones with IO access ports by code? I see a lot of straight drops that have them just above ground (like that one you had to get Ollie to open for you on your holidays), but never the right-angles like the one you worked on today.
Hey mate!! Watch for some time … just if anything but to here your traveling to job tune!!!!😂😂👍🏻👋🏻🇺🇸
Thanks 👍
Excellent video! 💝🇺🇸
Thank you 😊
You really do get yourself into some strange situations........
Big job but great result....😊
Thank you 😊
@34:25 Aahhahaww.😂.You poor man, soaked in wet roots.
Now I understand why you don't like doing dig ups after hearing about your back operation. So when you do them massive on😎
Thanks 👍
Why in Australia they use light PVC (white) pipes in the sewers instead of IPS (brown) pipes with rubber seals for drains‼️⁉️
What's wrong, the regulation or the contractors💩⁉️
i spoke to soon it seems...horay for TCO
Hey Gavin, I'm only 2 mins into this vid, laughing and curious on how you decide who is on traffic duty which day or do they draw straws? 😂
Haha 😂
is there anything you can put on the place where roots enter the pipe that repels them to keep them from coming back?
I'd gladly join you for a storm water blockage but you can keep the poo pipes for yourself 😂
Wondering if your mate on your job was Ollie? He does some of the same things as you.
Gavin,,hallo,,sewer & storm,,drains,,drain roots,,,,,,,stay well🇦🇺🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇸
yellow tape, 3meter mark, orange, 2 meter mark, and red one meter mark, reduce your mud coverage.
All Good 👍
All good 👍
Can you link your equipment in the description? I think if you do that and anyone buys something through your link you get something for it
best shower
That morning methane pick me up.
Nice one, Gavin. Though by now you may be growing webbed feet. :P
Curious if you ever got the hose stuck to where you needed to do some workings to get it out.
Yes the hose has been stuck. I have a previous video or two with it stuck.
Hi, do you ever encounter snakes on your jobs? We don’t have many snakes in Canada, and only a few that are venomous!
If all the plastic lengths of pipe interlock into another joint with a large collar how do the roots penetrate through take care.
The joint perished
You need to have a shirt that just says "roots" or "that's a good specimen"
