I've created a couple of hundred videos of Pub Battles, but this is my first Burning Banners. Please bear with me while I iron out the video style.

Thanks for the video. Fast paced and entertaining. I recently bought the game and have been using online playthroughs to supplement the rulebook, which has some challenges.
I agree, and I don't think it is anything wrong with the rules, it is just that so many procedures are novel for us experienced gamers, and there are so many details to attend to.
It's sort of the price you pay for a richly detailed world.
This game was not at all on my radar. And I enjoy RPGs and wargames. I will have to go to Compass Games and check this out. Thanks for the gameplay video.

But I'm not sure you can play as you did at setup : you put 1 unit then play it - rinse repeat.
I think at setup time, both parties have to spend their gold (or not), then starting party can play.
Thank you for the nice words!Actually, you are under no obligation to spend any of your beginning money. The goblins certainly don't want to spend any of it.
The money I spent was the first turn.
Nice video, but you don't have to "research" treasure. It can be used immediately after you kill the monster.

@jordigrau3582 all my plays are solo. I prefer the basic game solo, as there is less to keep track of.
