I watched this when it first aired with my whole family (my step-daughter visiting from college). When the last scene faded out, my step -daughter's jaw dropped and she turned to us and asked, "Did I see what I think I saw?" It was a massive first in "children's" television. Up there with Sesame Street dealing with the death of Mr. Hooper.
I won't lie, I usually don't trust men to watch Korra after seeing some downright disgusting reactions, especially when it comes to the PTSD arc, but I'm glad I decided to take a chance on these two. It got kind of rough at certain points but I've greatly enjoyed this ride and finding this channel.
Korra catches so much hate for no reason. This show is not ATLA, but this show is AMAZING. Korra had so much more to go through, she had arguably harder villains to face, she had more personal issues to go through. Evil Hero who takes bending away, the literal definition of Evil and an Evil Avatar, a whole team of highly skilled, trained killers hunting you since you were 5, an entire army trying to overthrow an entire city that Aang built. Not only was she comparing herself to Aang the entire show, not only were fans comparing her to Aang the entire show, but she also lost connection to her past Avatars. She had to wing everything for Season 3 and 4. Imagine if Aang couldn't talk to Roku or Kyoshi when taking down Ozai. I'm not saying who is better but stop trying to say Korra was not good.
@@davidhansen9792Korra is a better developed character than Aang, his identity revolves around him being the last Airbender, but that show was depicted in a different manner with them being a wandering group while in Korra they’re older and have different circumstances
@@OdetteM00 id admit that there are better things in korra then atla but there are many more worst things in korra than in atla. I can count basically on one hand whats is kind of bad in atla while korra i have a whole list. This isnt saying korra isnt a bad show or shouldnt be watched. Because it is still a good show to watch. the only reason i watch korra isnt because i want to but because its a canon show on a timeline. Atla on the other hand i would watch multple times because i wanted to.
The shot of Korra controlling the Liquid Metal like water gives me such goosebumps! Also, thank you for watching this series. I really love Legend of Korra. It’s such a great story of coming into adulthood. Going out with hopeful eyes, getting beaten down, succeed, and persevere. It really resonates with me. So, thank you again for the reactions. It was a great ride.
Ikr?!! Kuvira knows there isn’t any water present so she expects Korra to block it like an earth bender or dodge the attack like an air bender but instead Korra redirects it like a water bender.
ahhhhh korrasami for the win "the avatar always gets the girl " sokka: My first girlfriend turned into the moon Mako: my ex girlfriends are dating each other Zuko: "that's rough buddy" I love korra , she is so strong and good and kind , i really love her development. I think she and asami balance out each other really well
as a gay viewer can I say how refreshing it is to see how well you talk about the ending? So often reviewers say oh what was that but you understood perfectly and couched it in the time period it was released. Really feel that.
Wan: Closes the spirit world portals Korra: Opens them and just to compensate for those thousands of years of closed portals makes a 3rd one just because
Thank you guys, for giving this show the love it deserves. Korra is a wonderful protagonist and her arc of resilience, perseverance and compassion always inspires me. And she and Asami are just perfect, the ending with them is so peaceful and hopeful. All the best ❤
Yes! So glad you concluded the show is over hated. I get some of the hate that has to do with the production and release of the show, but the content of the show itself is great! Aang was a compasionate kid who had to learn to be aggressive and make hard decisions. Korra was a headstrong teen who was aggressive and had to learn to be compasionate. Different protagonists in the same universe, and the same reincarnation cycle.
There is a 3 part comic called turf wars, which takes place right where this ended, you should read it, it’s really good, and shows the Korrasami relationship the way it should have been shown in the show.
I’m so happy that you prefer Korra than Aang. She is overhated by the fans. I love the fact that you understand this show. TLOK is more mature. ATLA is my childhood. After all, both are perfect 🫶🏼
The post-LOK comics very clearly show that Korra and Asami are in a relationship. Korra even gets relationship advice from another established character who is revealed to be gay/bi
Korra is definitely my Favourite show. It’s sucks that it ended. You know what they say “all good things must come to an end.” It’s like one those things where it leaves an empty space. Also if you guys wanna continue there is a comic book or graphic novel about the Legend of Korra, it starts right after Asami and Korra enters the spirit world together and continues from then on. Then there’s another one where it follows young Korra in the North Pole, and how she and Naga ended up together. Thanks for the reaction and your insights. Awesome reaction and a great channel.
21:00 agreed, I think Korra's the better/more engaging protagonist because her struggles are that much more relatable to the general audience than Aang's
Yep I definitely think Aang was designed to be a fairly flawless protagonist who helped others become enlightened while Korra needed to get there herself
yes! Korra changed the world so much in her time as Avatar. bridging spirits and humans, restoring airbending nation, and creating a new spirit portal. all while overcoming terrifying and mature villains. Aang, bless him, ran from his people which resulted in the genocide of his culture and ran from many conflicts through the show (letting go his earthly tether, running from his friends etc) so while I think ATLA is a masterpiece, Aang as a protagonist pales in comparison to Korra
I love you guys, your reactions to these series are my safety. Youre the only ones that actually really connected to the extent fans did. I really thank you
Idk.. kuvira is kinda right about no one was doing anything after the queen d1ed. She really just want whats best for her nation. Executed it wrong tho. 🤷🏾♀️
What was good for her people, like blackmailing them, threatening them, trying to kill the Avatar, deciding to kill her fiance, trying to kill her further friend, etc. She left "help my ppl" behind episode 1
I love how both series end with the word "perfect". These shows both have a place in my heart forever and I don't think I'll ever grow tired of them. Thank you for your heartfelt reactions, it's wonderful to see someone appreciate this show for what it is.
18:38 - I think what you're saying here has a lot to do with the initial heat the show got. A lot of the criticism of Korra herself was that she was a "Mary Sue" (a character archetype, usually a woman-coded character, who is practically flawless and always in the right) when the show makes it very clear that Korra's basically the opposite of one.
absolutely LOVED your conclusion and retrospective on what makes korra (character and series) so good and the analysis of where the hate could possibly come from is insightful. was fun watching this through with you guys.
This show rocks so hard. And yeah it would have been cool if the Korrasami stuff was a bit more obvious, but as a registered homo I gotta say I really appreciate that their relationship is the cherry on top of the whole show.
Till this day im still team Kuvira. Her ideologies made sense and she was genuine in uniting the earth kingdom which was in shambles after the red lotus. If i was an earth kingdom member no doubt she would've gotten my vote. Obviously she got too power hungry but she generally provided protection and provisions to the earth kingdom members.
Wow, it's hard to believe this journey is over! I truly enjoyed your reactions to Korra; you easily rank among my top 3 reactors for the series. It’s just so refreshing to see people who can separate ATLA and Korra, give these characters a chance, and, of course, accept a strong female lead. On top of that, your observations and great plot guesses, combined with your humor, made it both entertaining and funny. Also, I totally agree with your hot take.
Thank you guys so much for all the reactions from the first episode of ATLA to the final episode of Korra. Really enjoyed the great ride and glad you guys also enjoyed it. Well next stop is the live action series of Netflix and in 2025 hopefully the new animated series! The Avatar universe is far from over!
Hate for Korra holds no credence. They (usually men) hate on her bc she struggled in battles with main villains and because she wasn’t no diffing everyone in the Avatar state like Aang was. When Aang literally lived in a time where NO ONE could fight against the Avatar state. Korras time is different. Not only did they usually handicap Korra in some way every season (no avatar state in S1 to fight bloodbending plus no airbending, she fought the literal DARK AVATAR in book 2, got poisoned in Book 3 bc she wanted to save the airbenders, she had MAJOR PTSD from all of that in book 4 until the end). Korra really struggled and was a new teen and sheltered Avatar. The beauty of it all was watching her go through that journey and become so much better as an avatar and person. Much more mature. To come around and face Kuvira as her final villain in the animated series who was a direct parallel to her old self. Beautiful protagonist. The ONLY reason they pick Aang over Korra and hype him is nostalgia and the fact that again, Aang no diffed everyone in his series without much struggle at all. And they also never hold Aang accountable for anything. It’s always “he was 12”. Okay and? They treat Korra like she was a 40 year old who should’ve had the answers to everything like they were perfect as teenagers or something. Korra faced WAY harder obstacles as an Avatar than Aang ever did in ATLA. Glad some ppl can understand and appreciate Korra as a series a protagonist. She’s awesome. She’s imperfect and she acknowledges that but doesn’t get absolute best anyway and still succeeds in the end. Aang wasn’t perfect either but he was definitely shown in a more perfect light. His flaws were in your face like Korras. And Aang wankers hold him as this perfect God. It’s so annoying. They literally think Aang in ATLA could beat everyone easily under Korras circumstances in Tlok. He would get folded.
Korra is totally underrated and all your hypothesis are right; the fandome of ATLA was actually so crypted for the absence of Aang and the premise of a girl being rude, rebel and egotistical on the journey becoming the Avatar, Aang story is so good any doubt, but Korra is more special, more mature, more emotional and real accurate with actual problems, not mention the animation and the music is awesome. So happy you actually enjoyed this amazing beautiful story and I´m agree with both of you on your last statement,,, Saludos
I know this is a hot take but I also enjoyed Korra more than ATLA. ATLA laid the foundation, but Korra really took the universe and characters and expanded upon them to create something truly special.
I have watched many many reaction channels through the years but from black clover, through this, following you on these jurneys have been the most enjoyable reaction experiance I have ever experianced. Here´s to many more great stories!
I love you guys so muchhhh. I am so glad you appreciate the show. I got really emotional during your last talk 🥹 Korra is very special to me bc it is not perfect and bc I see myself in Korra a lot, with the struggles and the happiness 🌸 Love you my boys ✨
Aang and Korra are two different people. I never liked when people feel the need to comparing two of them to decide which one is better. They were born in different tribe, different era, with different culture and they have different problems in different time. Their characters developed in different way. They have their own way to deal with their struggle. Comparing them two to decide which one is better will always be subjective and never ending discussion. Why is it always Aang vs Korra, and never Aang & Korra. For me, Aang is human learning to be avatar, while Korra is avatar learning to be human. And both are amazing ✨✨
Yeah people have a problem with Korra being a brown female Avatar who isn't Aang. They would come up with every excuse why Korra isn't good, how Aang was stronger and better even though the creators confirmed she was stronger than him, etc...
I agree with you that Korra is a great protagonist, but don't demonize people who disagree with you (ascribing the most evil motives to them possible). It's addictive, unhealthy, and usually untrue.
All I can say is that, thank you soooooo very much for appreciating Legend of Korra for what it was (a stand alone, independent show) and not for what a sequel for The Last Airbender should be. I do really hate to compare, but this is why I like you guys leagues better than other reactors (like that toxic couple who's one laughs a lot and the other one blatantly gaslight his girlfriend on camera) who keeps on watching LoK for the hopes of seeing cameos of the old characters and/or a reunion festival of old people from ATLA and can't shut up about it. They can't seem to focus on Korra and its story it tries to depict because almost every season, every episode they wish that someone from ATLA will appear... You guys are different because though you are hyped with the old characters coming out, you guys still managed to get the themes and concepts in narrative it tries to get across the viewers. You guys are smart deep down more than you could give yourselves credit to. 🎉 I hope we can still be here coming back for the live action reactions soon! :)
I’m glad you guys enjoyed Korra! It is definitely overhated. Hearing people say the entire show is trash and shouldn’t exist is obnoxious. Its flaws are very apparent, but there are also so many great moments to balance it out, beautiful animation and music, great voice acting, exciting fight scenes, mature themes. I’ve rewatched it multiple times and it has become a comfort show for me, and to think I put off watching it for years because of the negative reputation it had. Nickelodeon prevented it from reaching its full potential, but what we got was still pretty great.
I love how much you love Korra😍😍 So many people who react to Korra after Avatar, still compare it too much to Avatar and find Korra lacking. It always makes so sad, and I just love how much you love Korra, also the character. Korra is so strong and way more sensitive than people think. I don't like Korra more than Avatar, I think both are great, but I feel like Korra has a better character arc than Aang💁🏽♀️ It's been a pleasure watching you react to LoK💓
remember how korra just wanted to be the avatar? being childish and impatient? shes so different at the end. ive always loved her development throughout the seasons.
I really enjoyed watching your reaction to this! Thank u for giving Korra a chance, understanding her struggles and not giving up on her! Great reaction ❤️❤️
glad to have taken this journey with yous has been amazing re watching something from my early teens and knowing it still hits the same feels and in a time when people didn't really talk about feelings hards ship mental health etc this show was a gem loved Korra animation style everything many many shows and anime's after this have taken tips

Wow… can’t believe it’s over. I’ve been watching since the beginning of ATLA and I have to say this is one of my favorite channels for reactions because of the perfect combination of hilarious jokes and serious moments. Appreciate you guys!
Thanks a lot both of you for this journey! You have one of the best analysis on this show for what it is the Legend of Korra and not another Legend of Aang(not that I don't like ATLA).
Some viewers rate a show on how it compares to the fanfic in their head instead of going along for the ride. it’s storytelling, it doesn’t have to be a two way conversation. I learned my lesson with Steven Universe & creating theories. People need to be patient and enjoy what they take away from the story. I think ATLA was might have been better in terms of story archs, Zuko’s redemption but the LOK crew was dealing with external factors that affected story telling. Still a great show with amazing animation.
I think we do need kids to know that Korra and Asami were together. This came out in 2014, right after I came out to my parents. They weren’t taking it well and wanted to send me to conversion therapy. This scene told me that who I was is totally normal and that it was ok to advocate for myself. It literally saved my life
Great reaction guys to an amazing series, thought you would love this show from the beginning. It had it's bumps in the road, but boy did Season 3 and 4 was such a ride.
If you want to look it up, after the series finale they released a still image of Korra and Asami cuddling in a swan boat on a date to confirm their relationship. They also cover it in comic book series where Korra comes out to her parents and Kya gives her advice because she's a lesbian and tells her about coming out to Aang and Katara.
In this fight, you can clearly see Kuvira's attacks, and how similar to waterbending style they are. As early as s4ep01, you can sort of see Bruce Lee's stances and moves. Lee famously said, 'Be like water.' In s4ep05, during this battle outside Zhao Fu, besides the metal in her body slowing her down, the fight reminded me of Bruce Lee's fight against several masters of older styles, and how easily he defeated them because of their outdated techniques, which mirrors what Korra said back in s01, needing to learn new combat techniques. As for the new portal, remember back in s02, Vaatu said, 'it was [him] that tore through the boundary between the material and spiritual realm.' Vast amounts of spirit energy, bent to open a portal.
Tenzin: Korra, you've transformed the world more in a few years than most Avatars did during their lifetimes. That is pretty much the showrunner's way of saying: Korra you done a lot more good than what Aang did his series.
I find it funny that people have an issue with Korra being “too strong” when she literally gets wrecked every season without fail where Aang never really did. I think most people are upset that she is a powerful bender but that clearly came easy to her while the spiritual stuff is harder. Aang’s biggest personal dilemma was not wanting to kill the firelord and he was gifted a secret avatar ability in the last episode so he would t have to face that fact. Plus, Zaheer is the goat villain of either of the shows.
I LOVE the Review of the show am so glad y'all think what u think of the show and i agree w pretty much everything i've been on this journey since ur reactions to the first atla ep and its been such a great journey going trough everything again w u guys watching u 2 together feels like seeing me and my bff talking abt the show
I'm really happy to see you guys enjoy TLOK The Legend of Vox Machina. It's made by the same animation studio as TLOK many notable voice actors and was made based on a dungeons & dragons campaign. It's really good and I think you guys would enjoy it, it's more of an adult show though
I think some people who hate this show is because they had expectations that it's gonna be similar to ATLA They expected more like a traditional adventure fantasy genre so when the show is set in a world of machines n industry, the charm was gone Then it rolled down the hill from there People started to pick every small detail n make it a problem n ignore the good things Tbh i was 1 of those people But watching it again as it's own show without the expectations from ATLA, i can appreciate it more
so glad you guys loved Korra. I honestly think Korra is a much better written character than Aang, and they high points of the series are better than the high points of ATLA. Season 3 of Korra especially is goated.
I do wish there was a slower development of the Team Avatar team with maybe an additional member joining late. But still appreciate them more after a second watch through with you two
Korra was so much of a trailblazer with regards to the Korrasami relationship that allowed the shows that would follow to showcase different queer relationships; I can't hardly count them at this point, from Steven Universe to Owl House (neither of which I've seen, but.... internet happens). Yes, it was an unsatisfying half-measure, but it just didn't yet exist in a climate that would tolerate its existence, and it would inspire so much more. It's one of the things I love about Book 3 and 4, specifically 4, knowing what is going to happen and how it's presented. I really do appreciate both of your reactions, not being one of The Straights (tm) who don't see their relationship coming or are confused by it like a fair few other reactors I've seen. Some people don't enjoy Kuvira as a villain, which is fair considering how good Zaheer and Amon were, but I still like her intensity over anything else. Plus, she's voiced by Zelda Williams, the daughter of Robin Williams, and yes, he named her after THAT character. She was a big fan of the show and was able to land a voiced role that I think she totally nailed. I thought the action was great, though some don't think the robot fight was satisfying. Really, as good as AtLA is, I still enjoy rewatching Korra more. I just connected with the characters in a way I didn't in AtLA though I can still recognize that cast as being much better written. I said in the comments of a previous video I would post a link to what the co-creator said after this episode "aired" so here it is: bryankonietzko.tumblr.com/post/105916338157/korrasami-is-canon-you-can-celebrate-it-embrace

all the love to the two of you for all of your reaction journey ❤❤ i say this in the kindest way but it is was a bit of a shock to see two of the dudebroiest dudebros to have one of the most empathetic responses to lok and the emotional depths it went on. surprising but in the best way. as someone who doesn’t really watch anime (at least not any of the super long running ones 😅) i’m happy you’re keeping a western animation reaction slot, which will even finally get me to watch invincible which has been on my watchlist for a while. thanks for all your work and for sharing your thoughts, it’s been fantastic
The Legend Of Korra is such an amazing show. ^^ After the Series Finale the creators came out and confirmed that Korra is bi. I would honestly love to see a new Avatar show set 10,000 year's into the future. That's when that Dark Spirit, can't spell his name, would emerge again. I think it'd be interesting to see an Avatar balance the Light Spirit and Dark Spirit within them.
I don't like this idea of needing to say which is better; they are both excellent shows and protags. I enjoy Korra more, personally, but as a teen back in the day I loved Aang just as much. I think instead I like to compare simple vs complex. ATLA is a more simple story which is fine because it's meant for a very young audience. TLOK is more complex because its meant for an older audience (but still have enough to be enjoyed by younger viewers as well.) I see a lot of comparisons saying that TLOK is darker and more mature than ATLA but I think ATLA was plenty dark and mature - it told a story that included genocide after all. It was just SIMPLE where Korra's story is far more complex with more layered world building and themes. Korra's story has more real-world political themes, more work vs personal life balance lessons, and a lot more mental health themes than Aang's story did... and that is FINE. These stories are not the same dish with two different recipes, they're two different dishes and both are delicious! lol
With as much as y'all loved Avatar, some other western cartoons I'd highly recommend are Steven Universe and The Owl House (both are FANTASTIC, and definitely draw some inspiration from Avatar)
Truly W take TGL. IMO Korra is a much better show than ATLA . I could rewatch TLOK as many times as it takes with many different reatctors but i could never bring myself to rewatch ATLA cause its so damn boring pacing wise.
Not sure what’s to come but if anything I want to recommend you watch Vox Machina. It’s more mature show that you’ll defiantly find enjoyable, based on the first d&d campaign of Critical Role.

Atla on the other hand i would watch multple times because i wanted to.
@@Hooploops777 your right i should stop comparing them and just start listing the 14 things wrong with korra vs 5 things wrong with atla
Ikr?!! Kuvira knows there isn’t any water present so she expects Korra to block it like an earth bender or dodge the attack like an air bender but instead Korra redirects it like a water bender.
ahhhhh korrasami for the win

Zuko: "that's rough buddy"
I love korra , she is so strong and good and kind , i really love her development. I think she and asami balance out each other really well
That's perfect. Lol. ^^
The comics really embrace Korra and Asami being together. Meeting Korea’s parents and telling them is super heartwarming
as a gay viewer can I say how refreshing it is to see how well you talk about the ending? So often reviewers say oh what was that but you understood perfectly and couched it in the time period it was released. Really feel that.
Wan: Closes the spirit world portals
Korra: Opens them and just to compensate for those thousands of years of closed portals makes a 3rd one just because
Thank you guys, for giving this show the love it deserves.
It makes me so happy to see Korra get the love she deserves! Thank you so much guys! ❤
Thank you so much for watching this amazing series and it was so much fun watching it again with you guys❤️🥰😆
There is a 3 part comic called turf wars, which takes place right where this ended, you should read it, it’s really good, and shows the Korrasami relationship the way it should have been shown in the show.
@@ncard00thank you!i didn’t know that.❤
I’m so happy that you prefer Korra than Aang. She is overhated by the fans. I love the fact that you understand this show.
TLOK is more mature. ATLA is my childhood. After all, both are perfect 🫶🏼
I feel like ppl chose ATLA over LOK bc of nostalgia and just bash on korra bc they’re just too emotionally attached to aang 😭

Aang has Luffy qualities but diff
Good reasons, terrible means.
It's like Toph tells Korra in the swamp. The villains all had a point, they just took it too far

Korra was by no means a Mary Sue, so I don’t see why she was called that by haters.
Then they would call her weak
absolutely LOVED your conclusion and retrospective on what makes korra (character and series) so good and the analysis of where the hate could possibly come from is insightful. was fun watching this through with you guys.
This show rocks so hard. And yeah it would have been cool if the Korrasami stuff was a bit more obvious, but as a registered homo I gotta say I really appreciate that their relationship is the cherry on top of the whole show.
Blame Nickelodeon for Korrasami not being more explicit 🙄
If the creators had their way, Korra and Asami would have gotten together during Book 2. Instead, Nickelodeon forced that love triangle.

I'm glad I was able to relive this journey with you~
The soundtrack of mako's sacrifice is absolutely incredible! I could listen to it all day, it just incapsulates all the emotions, it's overwhelming
Korra has definitely matured throughout the series and this universe is so amazing, gonna miss the reactions 👍
Thank you for sharing your Korra journey with us! I had such a fun ride!
KORRASAMI SUPREMACY 💙🩷
REAL
Really enjoyed revisiting Korra with you. I appreciate your regard for this show!
The scene where Korra went full on Akira against that cannon was fire

Really glad I was able to find you guys. It’s been awesome reliving the show with you. Can’t wait to see what comes next. Thanks for all you do.
"shit it down!" "i cant!"
you absolute waffle!
I love Legend of Korra so much
Shout out to the both of you for giving Korra the love she deserves!

Best thing about korra is her impeccable taste in women
I don't know if you've heard or not, but they're working on a new series with the new earth avatar 🥶

Lee famously said, 'Be like water.'
In s4ep05, during this battle outside Zhao Fu, besides the metal in her body slowing her down, the fight reminded me of Bruce Lee's fight against several masters of older styles, and how easily he defeated them because of their outdated techniques, which mirrors what Korra said back in s01, needing to learn new combat techniques.
As for the new portal, remember back in s02, Vaatu said, 'it was [him] that tore through the boundary between the material and spiritual realm.' Vast amounts of spirit energy, bent to open a portal.
Korra was so good. Imagine how much better it couldve been if Nickelodeon hadnt sabtatoged it every step of the way. XD
Korra is my favorite avatar.
Tenzin: Korra, you've transformed the world more in a few years than most Avatars did during their lifetimes.
That is pretty much the showrunner's way of saying: Korra you done a lot more good than what Aang did his series.
Korrasami ftw! ❤🤗
They have more ATLA and TLOK content in comics
They Should've Kissed! Damn u Nickelodeon 🙄
Loved watching u guys watching Korra🎉
Love this show and this ending
I find it funny that people have an issue with Korra being “too strong” when she literally gets wrecked every season without fail where Aang never really did. I think most people are upset that she is a powerful bender but that clearly came easy to her while the spiritual stuff is harder. Aang’s biggest personal dilemma was not wanting to kill the firelord and he was gifted a secret avatar ability in the last episode so he would t have to face that fact. Plus, Zaheer is the goat villain of either of the shows.
The creators wanted to go w Korrasami from the beginning but nickelodeon never aproved so this is all they were able to show
this was so fun. you guys are great

I was hoping you guys would watch Castlevania (or maybe She-Ra)... can't wait to see which show gets selected from your three options.
She-Ra needs more love. Its excellent. It honestly feels similar to ATLA and LOK.
You can read the comics to see their adventure in the spirit world and more (:

I'm really happy to see you guys enjoy TLOK The Legend of Vox Machina. It's made by the same animation studio as TLOK many notable voice actors and was made based on a dungeons & dragons campaign. It's really good and I think you guys would enjoy it, it's more of an adult show though
I love Avatar Korra, my favorite Avatar
I think some people who hate this show is because they had expectations that it's gonna be similar to ATLA
They expected more like a traditional adventure fantasy genre so when the show is set in a world of machines n industry, the charm was gone
Then it rolled down the hill from there
People started to pick every small detail n make it a problem n ignore the good things
Tbh i was 1 of those people
But watching it again as it's own show without the expectations from ATLA, i can appreciate it more
I guess i was still immature back then
so glad you guys loved Korra.
I said in the comments of a previous video I would post a link to what the co-creator said after this episode "aired" so here it is:

all the love to the two of you for all of your reaction journey ❤❤ i say this in the kindest way but it is was a bit of a shock to see two of the dudebroiest dudebros to have one of the most empathetic responses to lok and the emotional depths it went on. surprising but in the best way. as someone who doesn’t really watch anime (at least not any of the super long running ones 😅) i’m happy you’re keeping a western animation reaction slot, which will even finally get me to watch invincible which has been on my watchlist for a while. thanks for all your work and for sharing your thoughts, it’s been fantastic
The Legend Of Korra is such an amazing show. ^^
After the Series Finale the creators came out and confirmed that Korra is bi.
