Just a couple of corrections, amendments and additions, dear friend - Acker Bilk (not aker), played clarinet not guitar... a more haunting and soulful instrument... Stranger on the Shore was a British television drama serial first broadcast by the BBC in 1961. It was written by Sheila Hodgson, and produced and directed by Kevin Sheldon. The show is described by some as a "children's serial", being shown on Sunday afternoons... Otherwise I totally agree with you...

Great video, really fine playing and sounds wonderful. I'm continually amazed and mind-boggled that Leo Fender and his crew at that small Fender factory in Fullerton were making these instruments way back starting in 1953. In addition to the Telecaster and his other products and visionary new designs, it's truly phenomenal that Leo had such vision and dedication and astounding technical skills, coupled with being a great manager and businessman.
