A snowstorm hits during construction of my DIY travel trailer. Thanks to my wood stove I am able to keep working inside and begin the shower construction. A nice size shower inside a 12'x7' trailer will be a nice luxury.

A real shower in a trailer is a huge plus. Being able to get clean after a fun day makes a trip so much more enjoyable.
Absolutely
I used sheet vinyl waterproof flooring for the walls in my travel trailer walls just put some construction adhesive on the walls and pressed the entire sheet onto the walls using a rubber roller to help with adhesion. so far it works great no leaks or anything.
Your detail, tenacity, and patience to show all of the steps are very fun to watch. I’m building a camper top for a military trailer, your videos are very helpful and motivating 💪
Not only would tile add extra weight I think it would crack and fall apart with the movement of the trailer on the road. Great video series... Just subbed.
nice
Your trailer is really coming along. I am sure you will be very comfortable on your adventures in it! Looking forward to the next step!
Cheers

Thanks so much!
What a great way to start my day! Thanks Scott.
At first I thought it was a pile of wood thrown in his camper I was like well that didn’t take long lol
Great video 👍👍 Scott. Idea for hanging your wet stuff. Princess Auto, fold away trailer tie down rings.
Hahaha a shower! This is a prelude to the hot tub! Lol
Tile??? That could be a lot of extra weight. I would recommend FRP board inside the shower room. They come in 4x8 sheets for about $80 at home depot. You use construction adhesive to glue them to the plywood. Easy to clean as well. Cheers.
FRP is the way to go.
Idk u should watch the episode were the trailer is built, the custom trailer this is on is insanely overbuilt
With FRP Pannels use FRP adhesive on unpainted 3/8 plywood.
I think your shower build is great. If l might, my brother when building a shower stall would use green backed sheet rock to resist moisture. That is a good for research and thought, for my possible build.
Looking awesome as always, love the workmanship and thought going into every step. Cheers Scott !
Thanks 👍
Eddy is coming along nicely. You will get so much out of it and will last so much longer.😘
NICE vid; great editing; I HOPE you stay warm; AND, "have fun".. 👍👣
Nice job. Great ideas and like the space pre-fab.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙊🙉🙈😎💥
Good project
Great footage Scott. Never thought about building in flex to shower walls - Brilliant as usual!!
Thanks 👍
Nice video again! Good work.
I like frp panels as well.
Build is coming along! Good space set aside👍 Should be warm too! Great little wood stove👍 B Deacon Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
Très beau Projet, very beautiful project !
Looks great Scott I love that little wood stove it's going to be so cozy in there.🙂🇨🇦👍
Thanks 👍
You'll be done soon! It looks great. I would have done a few things differently(minor), no criticism is implied. I built commercial aircraft for 12 years and am a aircraft mechanic, so I have some unusual experience. Keep on going, you're doing fine. Remember it's just a simple trailer.
Looking good . Your doing a great job.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video Scott. Good progress. 👍😁
Thanks 👍
Could have used pvc pipe for under the shower and this would allow 100% waterproofing and you can pass wires threw it after install , just a tip , the covering you used has a slice so not water tight and also additional wires cant be fished if ever you have to repair or add to ....im gathering as much info as i can before i build mine and im very impressed with your build so far 👍👍 i only mention the pvc because i do renovations and when ever i finish a basement i run pvc threw the cieling with string lines fished threw so i can fish wires after with no isues , most times from the electrical panel to the furnace room . Last house i did they decided to add a room on the back of the house and the electrician was very happy he didnt have to rip open the new finished cieling in the basement to run lines .....
Looking good brother!
Much appreciated buddy.
I really like your Technique it's really looking good
Thanks so much 😊
Aluminum Composite Panel would have been a better choice, it's cheap and easy to work and waterproof. It can also be cut, sawn, folded, drilled very easily and it's quite strong.
Nice build. A tip though use blue XPS foam. You will have twice or three times the rigidity and it´s not sucking up water like the white foam.
I have found that a lot of supplies are not available in my area.
If it out of line, I'd like to ask around how much did it cost?
I do have a question and I may have missed it in your previous vids but what size trailer do you have for this build ?
hola, podrias compartir las medidas de todo, desde el corte de fierros, altura y corte de los paneles por favor, tienes una muy buena idea que creo que es digna de imitar, gracias.
I dont know if you are beyond this or not. Take a look at kurdy schluter products for water proofing showers before you tile.
How do you handle the wood stove when you are returning from a trip? How long after it goes out do you wait to put the cap back on the chimney and drive with it? I like the cap idea because otherwise you'd end up with a trailer full of ash. Thanks!
Уважаю людей которые своими руками делают подобные вещи. Но не забывайте использовать клей, это избавит вас от лишних проблем в процессе эксплуатации. Чтобы не вышло как с русским кемпером Енисей. Удачи в работе!
I don't know if you covered this or not, but did you treat the plywood with any sealer before putting it up in the shower? That way the moisture doesn't rot the wood.
I had to turn the sound all the way up to hear you at some parts.
Doesn’t anyone use green board drywall in showers anymore?
תמשיך את המקלחת
What’s your plan for hot water for the shower?
Truma hot water heater.
I enjoy your videos but your music background is very repaticious and so I have to turn it way down but then I can't hear your comments. Just sayin'. Maybe it doesn't bother anyone else. Thanks for bringing us along .
Внешний вид просто супер, а внутри получилось как то убого не функционально
you should add what part the video is in the title, having to jump around and figure out which video # this is, you even stopped putting it in the decription
nice
