- Baby Bash opened up about his solo success during an interview with VladTV, revealing that he made $5 million and possibly more off of his hit smash "Suga Suga." He explained that the Robin Schulz EDM remix revived the 2003 hit, but Baby Bash said owning his publishing was the key in making a lot of money off of the song.
After declaring that "Suga Suga" would still be a hit if it was released today, Baby Bash spoke about having a string of hits including "Baby I'm Back" and "Cyclone." To hear more of what Baby Bash had to say, hit the above clip.

I’m Puerto Rican but if I spoke Japanese would that make me Japanese? No. Being Puerto Rican is in my blood and in my roots. Just because he doesn’t speak Spanish it doesn’t mean he’s not Hispanic. He’s just as much Hispanic as every other Latino out there. Shit Fat Joe doesn’t speak Spanish if I remember correctly and we all still know he’s Hispanic. He’s half Puerto Rican and half Cuban, right? His language barrier doesn’t stop him from being Hispanic and showing his roots and where he came from.

I grew up in Oakland in a Mexican Neighborhood Fruitvale there was that Gang stuff Nortenos Border Brothers and dudes Selling D to. But many of us who are Chicanos Mexican Latinos who grew up in the Bay grew up around Blacks Asians and other races so it's not a big deal out here. I lived in Vallejo for some Time I did meet some Nortenos there but it was mostly about Hoods and sides of Town Like Crest side Hill Side Su Side.

From East Oakland grew up on E7th near Fruitvale they had hella Nortenos and Border Brothers back then and the Blacks were slanging and claiming hoods like 69 ville Acorns etc. I lived in Vallejo in the mid 90's they had Nortenos like Barrio Centro Vallejo and Brown pride Nortenos and a Sureno gang called BBH and the Blacks were claiming Crest Side Hill Side SU Side. But Vallejo produced some dope Chicano rappers Baby Basy N2deep and Funky Aztecs.
