when i was 10 (1976) in Cleveland, on clear nights, my transistor radio/cassette recorder would pick up a late night Detroit radio show where a guy played his old 78s. This was one of the songs I recorded (this version too!) thanks for the memories
steve S what ever happened to the tapes-if I may ask?
@@haroldfarthington7492 For years I had a case of cassettes that were all created (mixes/vinyl/radio) It was actually the case my grandmother carried her toiletries in when she travelled. It disappeared sometime in my 30's.....between one of my many moves i suspect.
steve S maybe I could find it on the internet, what was the name of the station-if you can recall
@@haroldfarthington7492 i don't remember, and i tried to look for the tape but can't find it
I think, you heard Dr Demento.
Lovely sentimental choice of pictures in keeping with the song.
Fabulous music!!! Bravo!!!
Food for thought! Simply love it.
This is great! Such perfect pictures! And such a charming song. You certainly have a talent with your videos! Thanks for sharing!
It´s a great song, thank´s for sharing
Nice video! Today I was speaking to someone in my hometown and found out he's a fan of your videos too!
I think Irving Berlin did both music and lyrics whenever he wrote a song.
Love it!
Love the instrumental part at 2:00, very dreamy! At the same time, WWI killed thousand man every day in Europe...
Thanks for skaring!
Irving Berlin composed exclusively in the key of F - he played his upright piano equipped with a transposer which change the key mechanically! Limited ability? Not on your life!
limitations breed innovations which in turn allow creativity to flourish, so power to him
