If there was no video and people weren't informed that two guitars were being used, then it is highly unlikely that they would decipher that two guitars were being used.
Yeah, but at this level of quality I guess it's more about the feel and preference. Both amazing guitars. Am in love with the Charvel though...but about a 1000 more than the Ibanez....
Nice...Tone is in the hands... Let some1 else play it on the same guitars again.. it will sound different... .. but looks wise i prefer Charvel....we can't judge how a guitar tone is ,based on one man's playing...
Well, with this type and quality of guitar it is primarily about feel and preference I guess. Whatever makes you play the best you can is the one for you. That being said, the Charvel is twice the price but damn it is nice (looking, haven't played one). I have played the Ibanez very briefly and it is not for me. It did not do anything for me, while I am a big Ibanez fan.
Chaz Bono : wow, hard to say. I guess the colors and looks are allready not for me so I started off with a certain "meh" feeling. It was superbly built, felt good, sounded great but I wasn't exited to play it. I own a Godin Session in black burst that has the same thing, It's an amazing guitar in absolutely every way and yet I tend to grab my other (lower quality) guitars. Maybe they are too perfect? Almost becoming sterile? I feel the same about most Suhr, ESP and Yamaha guitars. Perfect in every way and yet....meh... I probably have been indoctrinated with "vintage" and "relic" guitar reviews and videos ;) Also, I must add that my playing skills are not of the level that I can use these instruments to their full potential, better players may love the AZ....
they are 2 different guitars, a more related comparison would be with the az2402, similar price, flamed maple top... www.ibanez.com/usa/products/detail/az2402ff_00_01.html
Try out the Charvel DK Pro Mod 24 HHS for roughly $1,000 which is very nearly the same characteristics as the expensive GG signature here. You may just find the guitar you want here. I chose mine for price reasons over the Ibanez and very happy with my choice.
It’s so hard to take guitar reviews seriously when you’re someone who’s never played a high end guitar. “ i have this and that $3000 guitar and this is better than that.” best guitar I have is a epiphone special ii and I’ve been playing for 18 years, minus about a 6 year hiatus. I can finally afford an az and I think it’s worth it. Please tell me otherwise
I think it's because it was run through digital processing and high gain. To really compare you'd have to go clean through a tune amp and mic, then crunch, then overdrive it. Then flavour it with reverb and delay at the end. Also run through each position on thr selector switch.
While that may be true for sure, compare the AZ2204 to a Charvel Pro Mod DK24 HHS which is less than hafl the price of the Ibanez and arguably almost the same guitar as the Govan model in most respects for roughly $1000.
Not really a 'vs' contest, they both sound and play great at high gain. There needs to be a clean vs clean tone test.
The AZ2402 reminds me of the Suhr GG Modern Antique, but in 3-tone sunburst and with 2 humbuckers.
Lovely guitars.
Yes. I used to have the Suhr GG Modern Antique and I wished I still had it. Thanks for watching!

I Completely agree
this was my exact thought.

@@keesketsers5866 I have tried for years and years but am still a rank beginner. I don't know how to play guitar. It is too difficult for me.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran if you have a serious problem from your brain it maybe a little diffucult..
Even with RUclips audio I heard a difference. Liked the Sound and look of the Charvel better.
To me the Charvel GG signature is a benchmark for this style of guitar. Your demonstration captured the differences quite well. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks for watching!
Ibby sounds better on individual notes, the Charvel sounds better on chords in this to me.
Prog Pogs I agree and I also prefer the look of the charvel. But the Ibanez has a really nice lead tone

both quite lovely :) what amp/model you using for that tone? sounds sweet, also which neck did you prefer?
I used Headrush pedalboard. I actually like Ibanez neck profile a bit better. It fits my hand quite well. Thanks for watching!

I'm dying to try out the AZ. I'm surprised and curious that your so luke warm on it, care to explain?

I bought an Ibanez AZ2402 in Ice Blue from Guitar Center used but it was in like new shape for $1299. It’s just an awesome guitar!
Wish charvel has hss version with 22 frets with the exact same specs as dk22!
agreed. thanks for watching!
Ibanez
what differences does the neck have between these two?
They're very equally comfortable to play though the Ibanez neck I feel a bit thicker. Thanks for watching!
Nice playing! What amp do you use? Sounds good
I used Headrush pedalboard. Thanks for watching.
Sound quite alike

So nex time try to play these guitar with clean sound and no effects thanks.
Thanks for the feedback!
Do you have a favorite brand ?
Ibanez, Suhr, PRS, Charvel, and many more. I like them all. Thanks for watching!
2402: more organic

No detail info, step by step. Just solo.
Yes, that's what I do. Thanks for watching!
Shit dude where you getting all this expensive guitars to compare? Someone got lots of danaro
These are used guitars so it's not that expensive. I sold them very much the same price I got them so I played them for free. Thanks for watching!
His wealth is our gain
Liked the charvel better.😉
Charvel is better。 more sweet more details
It's about 1000EUR more expensive...
The price range of these is quite different, it is only natural for the Charvel to be better.

@@nazmoking3171 Just sad that it doesnt come with ss frets..
ten5ion yes agree that would have made the Pro Mod complete!
The charvel is leagues ahead of the Ibanez , best guitar I’ve ever played
Charvel sounded better and the notes sounded better as well.
