And now years later, I'm in a better place. Even got a new pc. So now, I'm wondering what I should do with my life and I realize... maybe I should go all in on this music thing. :) Looking back, I'm so shocked that the video has so many views lol. It was just a little thing i did for fun. But I can't stop thinking about it. I like it and i have ideas about what to do next. So... know that im actually working on something again. :)

I like the mix of the two. The first half feels like she's talking DIRECTLY to Raiden, how much it would hurt her to kill him, if she could feel anything at all. She feels like they're the same, and maybe deep down, wishes things didn't have to be this way. It's a classic case of, "if our fates were switched, would you have my life, and I yours?" And the part all around conveys this feeling of love. Not romantic, not platonic, but a different kind, only recognizable by warriors and fighters. A love for your opponent, for the power they hold within them, and for the pain they went through. But she's warning him to not let her get close, that she'll just hurt him. Almost like the reason she's fighting him is so she DOESN'T hurt him even more than just killing him. The other half feels like she's almost venting everything to Raiden, what she went through, why she feels so empty. No matter what she does, she'll always remain a stranger to the world, and to herself. She is, truly, alone. I always felt bad for her. Yeah, she's by no means a good person, or anything close to innocent, but she COULD'VE been. Circumstances, however, turned her into a cold blooded, emotionless killer. But, staring at Raiden, she actually feels something for once. Sorry for the ramble, this is an awesome mix though and I wanted to give my feelings on it. Nice job!

It hits at the same level as the original game's lyrics. Especially that last line, that's some incredible stuff. The idea of surrendering yourself to your impulses and throwing aside your morality seems like a welcome respite from the internal clash between bloodthirst and conscience, but Mistral who is even now haunted by guilt knows that falling in love with violence isn't as romantic and freeing as it might seem.

(that you fight in her boss encounter?) Sundowner DLC = uses shields (also what you said) finally there also should've been a DLC campaign that ties MGS2 into MGS4 and then revengance... or even a DLC that explained how raiden became a cyborg and his first missions with the Exoskeleton.. shame this never happened though...

Yeah, Dmc2, sad thing only a few people know about her who played that game. With the recent release of the updated original NieR and Prince of Persia, I think we wouldn't mind a remake/update similar to that for older gems that are unplayable and unobtainable if you don't have the exclusive disks and consoles from that era that they can be played on (I do fortunately, but wouldn't mind replaying some classics again just upgraded instead of the yearly copy paste games with the occasional original thinking games with their own style and ideas that oppose the overall boring but good for sales safe norm nowadays). Miss the times when a man with a shirt in jeans walked in a conference room full of business executives in suits and said they need some more time to really polish the game since once they get on the disk there's no dlc, no patches, it's a complete finished product and they're still implementing new and new cool ideas into it and the business suits had to shuffle paperwork to work with the creators, but business is business and safe money is the best so most games nowadays feel like copy paste filler to fit a quota to be able to employ so many people.
