In this class Professor García Araque works with the students from Cuarteto Dittersdorf the Promenade of Pictures from an exhibition by Musorgsky in an arrangement for double bass quartet. This masterclass held at the Escuela Reina Sofía in November 2010.

In this class excerpt, Professor García Araque corrects details of tempo and tuning and talks about balance of voices, dynamics depending on the structure of the piece and sound contrast. Vibrato has to work together to create these timbre contrasts.
