woah, I didn't expect blue tiles to be solar panels, these are so cool also, It tells you something about the country when schools and kindergartens are being built with such care in mind. I really liked Kids' city, wish we had something similar in my city during my childhood
I think the fact that they're solar panels is the best part 😊👌 Danes in general seem to invest a lot in children - from getting them free high-quality education, to providing services and creating amazing fun and educational playgrounds that are accessible to all. I too wish we could "waste such architectural wonders on 5-year-olds" in my home country 😅 I can only imagine the difference in experience for children.
Thank you so much! I believe that everyone who lives here and is a legal resident has equal rights. I think that the International School (the one with the solar panels on the façade) is a private one, but the rest are public and are free for all citizens.
US: I'm not a kid and I don't have kids, so why would I pay taxes on other people's kids? Denmark: I'm not a kid and I don't have kids - but if my taxes do not go to families with kids, nobody will be around for me in ill health or old age.
