I literally watched this one time and wasn’t sure I grasped everything. However, a lot of it seemed to stick, and I got a 265 on the Accuplacer. I am able to take the necessary math for my program without having to take any refresher/remedial classes! 🎉

Thank God I found this video. So helpful. The first time I took the math Accuplacer I got a 226. I could have passed on my 2nd try if I studied more. I scored 236. With the help of God. I know I can get 243 or higher. Will update on July 24, 2024 the results. Update: My Score did go up by 3pts ,but I did not pass. That math got me.
Please don’t ever take this down! I have my accuplacer exam in December and I’m a visual learner so this video is my go to!! Thank you!

I’ll definitely consider the practice test before my placement exam.
I have been trying to contact and reach out to the people responsible for my exam, but they refuse to answer my questions so I thought maybe you could answer?
I am going to college this fall and I am required to take a placement test.
Do you know the amount of questions that may be on the placement exam?
How many points do I need to pass? (To be placed in college level English and Math)?
What’s the highest and lowest scoring on placement exams?

@@patelparth6533 I don’t take it until next week Wednesday. I have been extremely unmotivated due to high levels of stress. My stress is caused by experiencing unemployment, financial problems, no money for gas or food (I’m E on gas and snack on pretzels everyday and that’s it) and experiencing harassment on the streets everyday. I’ve been refusing to do anything so I may just fail..

Amazing study material.......I highly recommend it....I am going back to college after 23 years and my math was not good ever...bought their course and oh boy...it helped me understand the most difficult topics .....I have failed accuplacer twice...got this course and passed with a score of 955......thanks a billion smart editions
I got a 239 when I was in high school when I wasn’t as focused on my education and the think is I’m a very smart individual I just didn’t feel like it was important and now I have to do it all over again, I’m scoring higher, self teaching myself and learning and taking notes cause I know when I retake my accuplacer for college I’m gonna score a lot higher , determination is key :)
I’m in the same boat relearning again. a series of unfortunate events lead me out of school. I also found it very boring at a young age making it hard to problem solve now that it peaks my interest it really is as far as you want to take it.
This has been one of the best videos I could find, I feel so much more confident now that I watched.

I take my test Tuesday it’s just over Arithmetic!! I failed the section once by 4 points hoping I pass this time. Love the explanation

I suck at math badly!! But I will say by far this has been one of the easiest videos I've been able to follow. Wish I found this video when I took the TEAS exam for Nursing school

26:00, are you using the Y constant, or the X? If the X, why didn't you make it a negative 4 that you multiplied by?
does the accuplacer provide reference formulas like the area of circle, volume of spheres etc or do I have to memorize before?

is there typically this much trigonometry in the AAF section. the sample question test i received doesnt have a single trig question.... specifically of circles
There is trig on the test, you may or may not see as many questions on your test. Where were the sample questions you received from?
I went to get started with my nursing pre reqs today, but was booked for this test in 48hrs😃 I’m tempted to call and cancel because I didn’t know it’s this much 😅 I was in high school in 2003 25 years ago !!! 🙌🏾 and this teacher really helps. I’ll make good use of it a day before the test . I’ll be back with the results . If I was taught maths like this , I’d be way better . Thanks so much for this.

1hr and 8 min the answer seems wrong since the sphere has volume=1/2(base area × height)

Where should I take this Accuplacer test as an international student can I take this test from India or should I join the college and attend the test from canada
We're not very familiar with the international taking of the test, the best thing to do would be to check with your school and ask them for guidance.
When you apply to a college they will give you a voucher code to apply for an assessment that you want and after payment you can easily book your schedule according to your interest and you can give an online test from India.

There’s no way it’s the easy
It depends how you feel about math! The math is in 3 parts: arithmetic, advanced algebra & functions, quantative analysis and reasoning
You go way too fast and only show the long math versions

I agree and she doesn't explain why she's doing the equations. She's not teaching you how to think through the more difficult equations, just says "this is what I do". I know she's an expert, but she runs through it like people aren't learning from her.

Does scoring high helps to get any form of scholarship?
@@James-uy5wn It depends on your university, my specific scholarship doesn’t pay for foundation (for math and English) so I had to get 263 in math which means im ready for college algebra and calculus. For English I got 5 in the essay which was average but good enough to pass foundation. Thus, you need to ask beforehand to know what you should be aiming for. Good luck!
