Goh is one of the most genetically gifted MD smashers the world has seen in a while, unfortunately he has a cocky lackluster attitude leading to too much defence and unforced errors. Minions outperforms them because Gideon is a workhorse and delivers (how often do you see Gideon fucking around?), Sukamoljo can back up his cockiness more consistently. Goh Tan had their chance at Rio and blew it, Ong Teo is hopefully at least half as promising.

What makes the two team different here is Kevin vs. Tan in the front. Kevin is more superb in placing shots allowing Marcus to keep attacking.
Goh is more powerfull and beautifull smash to watch (sharp en deep), but marcus has many variation smash (sometimes sharp , sometimes enemys body, ect , which is hard to predict)
The difference is Malaysia player speed not fast enough, that why always lift the ball high and let the opponent control the game either drop or smash.

He only goes by the flow lift-smash-lift-smash etc. rarely jumping drop, rarely aiming the hard spot (near the side line, enemy's forehand side, etc) he only smashes hard to the center of the enemy. Gideon smashes with variation (jumping drop, aiming near the line, enemy's forehand, enemy's body, etc). So yeah if you asked which one smashes harder, gvs win. Which one smashes better? Id pick gideon
