- Given that my re-release of "Lazy Daze" has gone well so far, I figured why not re-release my original story, "Water Troughs" too? But in case it gets marked as "for kids" again, you can comment here: • Link to Thomas the Tra... Got the inspiration from watching Train of Thought's video essay on railway troughs. I also thought it'd be fun to pair Gordon and James for this one; they always make a fine pair. Hope you enjoy it.
Gordon accidentally splashes James while taking a drink from a railway trough. James, thinking Gordon had splashed him on purpose, makes a plan to pay him out. But his plan doesn't end up working the way he'd hoped.
Note: I do not own or endorse Thomas & Friends; it is owned by HIT Entertainment, Mattel, and the Awdry family.
Even after re- watching this episode. I still can't forgive James for his dirty trick.
Wow! Gordon was surprisingly mature in this story and it was actually very nice to see. Also, James' nasty trick wasn't very appreciated, so I hope he learned his lesson. After all, sounds like those troughs were a necessity, especially in such bad weather conditions.
Well, Gordon may be proud and pompous, but he's shown on multiple occasions that he can be humble and compassionate when he wants to.
Nice job by the narrator, very pleasant. 👍🏻
I loved this it brought back a lot of season 1 vibes.
Who made the reskins of James covered in ashes, Gordon and Henry's sick faces, Donald/Douglas' eyes shut face when he sneezes all over James and wouldn't the other engines also get sick to from both the troughs contaminated by the dirty water by the rivers and lakes and the ash water James made?
I was the one who reskinned James to be covered in ashes, as well as Gordon and Henry's sick faces. But AugustinAntonio62 made Donald and Douglas' eyes shut face, and he gave me permission to use it. But no, the other engines wouldn't get sick from the contaminated troughs because only Gordon and Henry's tenders would've been fitted with scoops. They pull express trains (including goods), so it's crucial for them to not have to keep stopping for water.
So funny and amazing story
Poor James get very bad day
Good to see you back FantasticMrS.
Yeah I been watching his videos after all these years and right now it’s still here today 10:59
Reminds me of what I made a piece of music for. Although, my title was “Dine-and-Splash”. I made a theme on the idea based on Season 5.
Awesome just subscribed to this RUclips channel
This definitely would be another certain lost episode of Season 1 or 2 if they were to change the music at 2:54!
awesome! I watched this before you uploaded it on RUclips, but I'm glad you put it up here!
Wow you made it to episode 69 few more episodes than you were on episode 100 😉
5:30 Man! It's like sneezing on someone's plate! Isn't it?
Sneezing in someone's glass of water?

Ah ! I have heard of these - from a Dad's Army episode. Where the Warmington on Sea Platoon of the Home Guard had a very unexpected bath, as did the Vicar, the Air Warden, The Verger and the Town Mayor and Council. When Their Majestys the King and the Late Queen Mother was on the Royal Train towards Dover.
That is very clever to use water trough and that incident with trains being splashed up by water for a Thomas story. I think I watched TOT video on troughs.
Nice!
8:57 wouldn't his safety valves go of first preventing a boiler explosion? Btw nice episode really enjoyed it!
Not if the fire box melts. Which can and has happened when steam engines run dry. I've given you a link to a video discussing such an incident in Ohio. ruclips.net/video/O0TxKH6eYQw/видео.html
@@rockacraig5653 the safety plug in the bottom of the fire box would drop first
@@eliotreader8220 That is more a final warning than a safety feature. If that goes... run.
James has a bad day and other stories.

These episodes are for kids.
But they're not JUST for kids, certainly not the way RUclips sees them. They're for people of ANY age to enjoy, young or old.
Why the heck is this episode 69
It's just the order in which I finish and release episodes.
