F= monovalent so h and I =1
Z= 1/2*(3+0-0+1*4)= 7/2 = 3.5
I= 1/2*(3+0-0-1*4)= -1/2 = -0.5
The table shows same value for BF4 anf BF4-
neutral and ionic species of same compound cannot have same hybridisation because formula value in a or c will differ
When I verified BF4 anion, yes it gives
z=4 and L=0, so that is sp3 tetrahederal
but how did you get the same for neutal BF4 I didn't understand

beta all the compounds that form bridge compounds increase their hybridization by 1. For ex BeH2 has sp hyb but after bridging Be2H4 has sp2 hyb. In case of BH3 it has sp2 hyb but after bridging B2H6 has sp3 hyb. I hope it helps.

Yes Central atom will be in first .Eg in CO2 C will be a t centre
No in h2o it is on 2 no . we can recognise it in such a way that we have to count the no of atoms of each compound . The least number will be of the central atom.
