- Опубликовано: 4 авг 2020
- The size of the explosion that ripped through the port in the Lebanese capital Beirut has shocked the world.
Some 300,000 people have been left homeless, at least 130 were killed and thousands have been injured.
But what do we know about where and how it happened?

"Life can change in a matter of seconds"
Sorry about the victims and their loved ones and friends but the last time I checked, the city of Beirut is still there and people do live there. Obviously, not everything ended.
Imagine going like this tjoo maweh
This poor country just cannot catch a break. Talk about kicking a country when it’s down.
Please pray for Lebanon
In this case, no one was kicking Lebanon, but She lift a stone and dropped on her own feet.
It started from a fire
No one say no because I almost died from this explosion
I live in Lebanon and it was very bad ;(

As someone who's worked in a warehouse, I can imagine the frustration of anyone who saw this danger coming and no one listened. That's how some people are--they dismiss the danger until something happens, then they look for a scapegoat.
Now we have a derailed train carrying thousands of gallons of toxic chemicals in the states. Have already killed off entire waterways and poisoned the land and air. All because some rich asshole wanted to cut corners to maximize profits.

The worst. Second to the lives lost 😢
I read all about it and learned of the letter of worrisome and plea to remove the explosives which was mailed but was never responded to. The mistake was the hush followed.
Yea but your stupid to think this was a firework. Its a bomb. Stop following narratives. 85% of strategic food supplies destroyed. And it's a port where trade happens. Your donks have no clue of warfare
Scary thing about this is this isn’t even a nuclear level explosion
Not even atomic, this is just an citywide explosion. Nuclear could take this whole country and more
No where near it, can’t imagine how devastating a nuke would be
It was a little over 2 kilotons of NH4NO3. Which would be slightly less than 1 kiloton of TNT. This is roughly equivalent to the smallest nuclear weapon that has been in the US nuclear arsenal which is the W54 tactical nuclear weapon which in various forms has a yield from 0.005 to 1.0 kiloton. So yes this was a nuclear level explosion.
