- Back Diving a new hole that we found that was holding some nice black groupers my buddy Chad got one right off the bat and I ended up shooting one underneath of the ledge that was around 80 pounds. Cool spot and lots of work to get that one out. He broke my gun, but I was able to get it fixed in the following days with some metal rods and epoxy. 
Several of the other guys on the boat that day have RUclips channels as well with videos up if anyone wants to check them out.

Awesome video. You ever try to use a long gaff to extract?
Absolutely. Not on the second dive but when it gets to the third or fourth, we start thinking about it. I brought an extremely long one down to use as a tickle stick for big Lobsters before.
Even the small one was pretty big...Can't imagine how big the big one was.
I think the Chad got was around 45lb. Was a really small one running around the rock like 10lb. The big one was just under 80lb
