Depp questioned whether that's what he says on the recording and said he wasn't so sure.

idk if johnny depp has possessed the entire world to be on his side but he literally says "the day that I chopped my finger off". funny how this only has 27k views but anything that "owns" amber heard has millions.
I hear "The day that you chopped my finger off".
But he swallows the "you" or "I".
So all that you really hear is a "J" sound.
So more like "The day that'j you chopped my finger off"
But then it is impossible to conclude what exactly he is saying with such bad quality.
All I can state is that swallowing a "you" makes far more sense than swallowing an "I".
Take for example "got'ya".
It is pronounced as "got'j".
Give me an example of when you swallow the word "I" in the English language.
Just because the lawyer tells you something doesn't make it true.

He also sent text messages saying he chopped his finger off. He got caught in a whopper and it shows. No-one is saying it was a rational act, he was off his face and not thinking clearly. There is also audio where he is holding a knife and repeatedly demanding and begging Amber to cut him. He cut his finger when he was on a 3 day bender, when he did £80K damage to a house he rented in Australia. I'm sure his testimony that "I never hit a woman" means nothing because as drunk as he gets, he has blackouts.
Another thing that makes his testimony worthless, he exaggerates so much. No one "chopped his finger off," it was a tiny bit of flesh, that he left in a bloody balled-up paper towel on the floor by the bar, among the shards of broken glass, and he proceeded to write on the wall with his cut finger. There are photos of his scribbles on the wall, apparently done by a psycho. The doctor instructed the staff to find the fingertip for reattachment, which they did. Repeatedly, Depp told the doctor and others that he cut his own finger.
Johnny Depp has a long history of thrashed hotels, bar fights, violent behavior. He ruined his own career because he has been aggressively suing people. He's a liability, and his movies haven't made much money in a long time.

She was deliberately taunting him in a very abusive fashion. She openly admitted to fighting him. He was trying to escape her tormenting. She also refused to give up drinking around him even tho' it was obvious the alcohol brought the worst out in her. Sounded to me when ever she had a drink she wanted to pick a fight with him whereas he just fell asleep which for some reason she could not tolerate.

Those text messages where JD said he wanted to drown, burn, and fxck Ambers dead body, those text messages are read out of context. He meant to say, i Love Amber and i will always be respectful of her. And.... Those texts from his sister saying, stop drinking stop pills and stop coke.... Well his sister was talking about halloween candy. Too much sugar will kill ya. And anyway.... I have only watched two videos about this case therefore my opinion is only based on this video and another. In the other video, he was wanting his wife to cut him and kept going on about it. I believe he cut his finger for sure. It reminds me of my ex who was self abusive and he was a habitual liar so I cannot help but compare the two. It was a nightmare and so very scary. God Bless all and once again this opinion is based on knowing very little about the case.
I'm following the trial. It's pretty obvious that he is the victim of abuse... Amber even put a cigarette out on his face after severing his finger.

There's audio of amber admitting to cutting his finger off in Australia. It can't be used as evidence because someone present in the audio has passed away. It's always been out there.
He had a crushing injury.
Something blunt and heavy hit his finger causing multiple fractures and a piece of the finger to fall of.
Likely something made out of glass that broke.
Since part of his soft tissue was also cut of.

And yet, there's a surgeon that's come forward saying Depp's story about his finger has flaws.

He texted multiple people (his doctor, and sister for one) that he cut his own finger off; the injury report matches what she claims and what he is now claiming makes no sense (throwing a bottle somehow broke part of it off, without any glass or bruising or injury to the rest of his hand????); in one-on-one conversation Amber says “you lost your own finger,” and now he LITERALLY says “I chopped my finger off,” and you brainwashed cows still say she did it. This is also after the UK trial (where the burden of proof is on the defendant btw) PROVED that Depp had abused her, so it’s now legal to call him “a wife beater,” where Depp also admitted (in an appeal, that he LOST TWICE) that he cut his own finger.

This clip certainly helps AH's case regardless of context but from everything else ive witnessed on the live broadcasts team AH is consistently and painfully contradicting their own statements and even their own submitted evidence. It's very hard to watch seriously when someone gives a second completely different retelling of an event. If you lie on the stand you need to remember when the question comes up again. Jury just sees someone "Crying wolf" and regardless of the overall case outcome there is a real danger of perjury charges for constantly contradicting herself in her own statements.
I don't watch either of their movies but ive been watching the full length trial to keep myself as close to the Jury's shoes as possible with the exception of their internal debates (though i get lots of that here) lol. My current opinion is in favor of JD *at the moment*

The only argument that seemed legit was the make-up one until someone provided me with evidence that you can in fact hide bruises with make-up. Also, bruises appear a day or two after the injury when it's healing, and all Camille was able to point out was that there was no bruising when she was injured which isn't how bruising go. I honestly think Depp's lawyers are a bunch of jokers.

It is common to say 'I' when referring to an injury. Who could believe that someone could actually cut their own finger off? Who could slice through a finger with a glass bottle.
