Hello Tim, First time for me to come across your videos, I like what I’m seeing!! I just subscribed as well as I see you have several vids using the Air 3s. I have had my Air 3s for a couple of weeks but haven’t had time to take it out for its first flight, STINKS I know, haha. Anyhow, nice video with good info that I’ll refer back to once I get a little familiar with mine! Coming to you from the Big D in the US, that’s Dallas of course and located in the State of Texas! Looking forward to more flight tips/info for the Air 3s as well as other DJI drones, keep up the good work, thanks!!
The Air 3S does not hold altitude. I sent mine in for repair and they sent me a new one. The new one has the same problem. If you take yours up to 380 feet (116 meters) and set the cruise control at about 30 mph (13 m/s) and just fly around only using the left stick to turn (yaw) watch the altitude. My Mini 4 Pro stays at that altitude perfectly through out the entire flight. But my Air 3S moves up and down gradually. Often bumping into the max altitude, giving me the max altitude warning message. Give it a try and I sure you will have this same problem. I think it will require a firmware fix.
Brilliant question. Because I selected an area/locatipn/object and default tracking is SPOTLIGHT and in spotlight mode wherever you fly the drone it will always look and move around that Point Of Interest POI. So the first 2 examples use POI and the last doesn't so I can move across the landscape. Hope that makes sense.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency So it adds yaw that changes the flight path from the straight motion commanded into an orbit. One more confirmation that Cruise Control is not the same as the old and sadly missed Course Lock.
I didn’t expect the cruise control to be so powerful ! I love this capability of adding directives incrementally
Glad you appreciate it. I feel the more you use it, the better you get. It's a valuable tool. I think its better than QUICKSHOTS.
Good explanation of this feature. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Santa is bringing mine in the morning. Thank you for sharing these settings.
Happy holidays!
I hope you looked surprised when opening Santa's gift 😅
Great video. I will try to do it with Air 3, and check if it's possibe too (Iassume yes). Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!

OK, I'll definitely try that, good to know. Cheers
In you first example why is it in a slight orbit if you only gave it right stick input?

Yes, when using SPOTLIGHT. You're right, it is different from the COURSE LOCK

Sorry forgot to say. Go to DJI downloads and you'll find it there. There's also a search bar on the site.
