- Hey guys, TheSupremeRk9s here! With safari week around the corner, and the luck streak BACK - naturally we signed ourselves up for 2 more shiny legendaries!! Shiny Dialga and Palkia have been on the to do list forever (since the first shiny Giratina fail) but it wasn't until summer 2021 that I finally decided to take them on! One shines SO FAST!! The other... a little shy. Either way I'm super glad to have both of these & can't wait to hunt in the safari next week!

The only locked shinies are the mew and Manaphy from pre order everything else is good to go
That won't work anakin because they aren't.
@@GhostLight6060 only locked for YOUR trainer ID if you trade the manaphy egg to another game it can indeed be shiny

Saying all the things about Sinnoh like slow hp bars and forcing Defog on a team member was so nostalgic to me because they were my first games. I hope the games are good

They were kinda lazy when designing them, but they still look good.
@@ethanpease5936 well they didn’t design them, they’re from gen 4 so they were made with the shiny algorithm, they didn’t start designing shinies until gen 6

@@ethanpease5936 yeah, before gen 6 shinies were generated by an algorithm so they weren’t actually specifically designed and colours selected by people, they only started designing every shiny in Gen 6 with X and Y and that’s how they’ve been doing it since

Very nice video! What a throwback watching Platinum gameplay! Perfect since the remakes came out in 2021 too! Also, I love all your jokes in this one, XD. Like 13:18, haha. Also, the saving a lot of data jokes too, lol. And yeah, the Master Ball DOES look very nice. So does the Great Ball. The Pokeball and Ultra Ball are meh to me.

Dude I got so lucky last year I was doing practice catches on dialga in platinum and the shiny showed up after 5 soft resets I will never get that lucky again in my life

It's basically a week long event where people hunt shinies in any of the safari zones from previous games. I think it starts this weekend!

yknow yesterday I was just setting up for a palkia reset hunt in shining pearl and checking RUclips and I noticed that people tend to get palkia either REALLY fast or REALLY slow across all games, with no in between (adrive’s 1 encounter palkia, jubileeblais’ 2 encounter palkia, etc) and I was watching someone get their palkia after 29k in platinum and thinking “I reeeeeeally don’t want this to go that long” and right at that moment I got it after a grand total of 29 encounters. unreal.

And I just wanna say that when I got into Pokemon back in 2014 you were one of the yotubers I watched, and coming back to it in 2021 after like a 4 year break, coming across your channel again, and learning that you’re gay is so cool for me, cuz same, and seeing this kind of representation in the community makes me really happy! I don't have a problem with those shinies. I DO, however, think that there is a bit of an issue with with the combination of Palkia's shiny and backsprite. Thankfully, that should change in the remakes.

Hey Dallas I recently had decided to go for shiny mewtwo although I do have the shiny charm it was still in thought going to be a long epic process and the animation is sick as all get out.
