Jason White threw some of the best deep balls of any era QB.

Such a weird game. This Alabama team ended up being just terrible, but played #1 OU right into the 4th quarter.

Would love to see the 2002 OU/Bamagame as well. Maybe even 2000 and 2001 bama vs UCLA too. Been awhile since I’ve seen those games. Great work as always.

This is when OU had real toughness. I was nervous about this game. Our secondary was big, fast, hungry, and smart. Look at PERKINS, that guy sweated talent.

These two teams' rankings will be accurate again soon.

4th and 10 in Tuscaloosa right after tide scores with crowd going nuts...only Bob Stoops would think fake punt. Classic.

This match-up is a trip to see.. But I suppose we'll be seeing it more often in the near future.
Here's to good health, and a safe, secure, and free future for the country so we can enjoy these things.

Although Alabama lost this game, this was absolutely the peak of college football on ESPN.
No BS. No politics. Just the announcers, and the game. No over analysis. Lack of excessive graphics.
This was the time to be a college football fan. It has since massively died out.

I was there. Stadium filled an hour before the game. We were so pumped to go toe to toe with Oklahoma.

Oklahoma had about 4 drops in the first 20 snaps of offense. Receivers couldn't catch a thing early

As R. Lee Ermey and Lou Gossett each said back in the 80’s, only two things came out of either Oklahoma or Alabama, steers and…….and I don’t see no horns on either of these teams….

Brodie Croyle was a solid QB but the poor kid was always running for his life.

On the third pass that number 80 catches out of bounds and announcers are saying that he was in if you look when he catches the ball the foot that's in the hill is over the white line so if you're over the white line you're out even if your toe is in the green the call was good my opinion

Man in this day and age it’s hard to believe that for a time Alabama was really mediocre.
