5:00 you can tell these people have money, they're all dressed quite nicely.. They don't care about other people who don't have the same income.. Absolutely SICKENING, we're all Americans, lift up everyone rather than only allowing the special few to rise above everyone else.. I don't get it, why do Americans treat other Americans like the enemy? I'll never understand it..

Na-zis were "just following orders", how'd that excuse go during the Nuremberg Trials? Cops best hope they're never held accountable for their past actions like the Na-zis were cuz most of these badged criminals won't have a leg to stand on in Court.. But cops are Sovereign Citizens above the Law in America, they're a higher class of Citizen than the rest of us "normies" no matter what, unless you're rich, powerful, or in law enforcement you're a second class Citizen to those in Authority.. We're nothing but cash cattle, our Rights, beliefs, and interest mean nothing to them..

It's not just or even most of the government. It's the wide open capitalist setup with no regulation. Both foreign and domestic investment firms are buying up land and old homes and jacking up prices on rent by double. The government has been inept and that's all it takes for things like this to happen. An inept government that won't regulate industries is just as bad as a government that actively promotes such activities. Don't give the government too much credit for what's happening. It greedy investment firms that are taking advantage of the unregulated industry. And also your home town. City building is a Pozi scheme. They need new construction to get tax monies to pay for older infrastructure that hasn't been renewed. The easiest way to get such monies is to allow out of town investment firms to buy up property.

I worked as a night shift volunteer at our local homeless shelter in northern Calif for 3 years before moving. For one week each local church would participate, then the next church and so on, allowing people to sleep in their meeting buildings, not the actual church. We fed people dinner, gave them blankets and they slept on Army surplus cots. Fed them breakfast and then they left. At 5:00 they could come back. Never had any poblems whatsoever. It was all donated food, clothing, free bags of hygiene stuff (like shampoo and toothbrushes) and I personally felt good that I was helping people in unfortunate situations.

It's really amazing how, when humans are born, the powers that be begin the process of pricing them out of living.
People need to really think about this.
Why does it cost to live

This reminds me of a story where a grandma was arrested for feeding stray cats in a local park. We've lost our way as a country when stuff like this starts happening. The homeless crisis is definitely orchestrated and exasperated by politicians, in my opinion. But that doesn't mean we should target the people actually trying to help. Homeless freezing and dying of starvation is not the solution to this problem.

I remember when I was homeless for a time. The people that stopped and dropped off meals was a true gift from God. It helps. Heck sometimes they will even sit down with ya and treat ya like you matter. It's the little things in life that makes it suck a little less. Much respect to anyone helping the homeless.

That is complete BS that all those things are happening because they said so. We are ALL human beings before anything, so where has the compassion gone? How could anyone want to stop someone who is feeding people who are going through difficult times, it really shouldn't involve the government in any way at all, I find this disgusting and disturbing that this is even an issue. Arizona shame on you, the cost isn't even coming out of your pocket. Why don't they address things that REALLY matter, like the homelessness in Arizona and what THEY can do to help would be a good start! Smh 🤦‍♀️

None of this is easy. If it was, the bad stuff, like homelessness, wouldn’t exist. The city though, nor any government, has the responsibility to take care of anyone.

@@Direct_D Hey, I know things are hard for you right now, but you’re not doing yourself any favors by jumping to conclusions. While you don’t have knowledge of any ignorance, you do have the ability to pursue that knowledge, which would lead to a more humble, productive response. Just as we have that ability to pursue happiness, as noted as his argument by this video’s speaker. Our Declaration of Independence’s opening of the inalienable right by our creator to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” has been translated by many throughout the years. “Pursuit” to mean the ability to go after it, while others argue it means to also attain it. If it is to mean both, it is our right to go after and achieve it, unobstructed. It does not mean you have the right to it at the cost of another’s sane rights or their labor.
That’s what my statement summarizes, and has zero to do with supporting a government’s ability to block it- in fact the opposite is true. Just as we are individuals with liberty, our government is for and by the people- we are our government- the two are synonymous. Our government only exists as the result of our labor. No one’s life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness is the responsibility of another. We are all free to attain and achieve it.

I wish there was more people "auditing" the governments and their institutions, especially the justice and democratic system. I'm in Canada and want to make it part of the culture that institutions need to be constantly audited, we live in liberal democracies but people take for granted that someone else is keeping those with power in check so they also assume government aren't corrupted nor abusing their powers, it's dangerous.

It's true what these people are saying. The homeless will go where there is free food and resources. Where I volunteer to feed the homeless, there is at least 5 blocks of tent cities. The city has to temporarily remove the homeless encampments to clean the urine, feces, and drug paraphernalia. The people cleaning it up have to wear full body hazmat suits. Also it's very true that crime of every kind goes up where there is a homeless population. I've been a volunteer feeding the homeless for 30 years and we had to relocate because the homeless that would come to get food, it was at a Catholic Church in a uppermiddle class neighborhood, would leave their trash, drug needles, personal belongings in people's property and they also committed all kinds of crime from petty to murder. I've even seen homeless form a drug circle and share a glass pipe and smoke meth right outside our door where they just received their sack lunch just a few feet away where families with little children are making the lunches. We all, the volunteers are being exposed to these harmful chemicals. This is the reality of the homeless population. I've also seen all out brawls right in front of our door where they receive their food.

I'm fine with homeless people utilizing parks and public places until they start turning it into a dumping ground the homeless population in my town grew 10 fold over the past 8 years it socks because there are alot of homeless people that don't steal from the neighborhood and trash up the parks. But the few ruin it for the rest of them unfortunately.

When my daughter moved to California, she couldn't take her kids to the city park without exposing them to the sight of homeless and illegal immigrants defacating, urinating, and injecting drugs openly. Not an ideal situation if you are a taxpayer who enjoys using the park you helped pay for. I my community we have food drives and the food is distributed through a system of homeless shelters. I belong to a senior citizen movie club where the price of admission is an item of food. And no one is allowed to camp in the city parks. They are usable for families.

Church group in Texas was having similar problems with the city ordinances. City started citing members. Church group contacted open carry texas, who in turn contacted local gun rights groups. Next wknd church group started setting up, cops started getting out of their cars, so did gun rights people, armed even with long guns. Cops stopped in their tracks. Some of the gun people were wearing tees, saying I don't want to go to jail, but I don't mind reloading.
