Captiva Osprey Nest 2024 Season - 2024 May 11th - Chick pecking order, Chick feeds and Dual feed

Following the devastation to the Captiva nests, the original pair relocated.
This season there is a lot of interest on the nest.
Jack and Edie - 2024 May 11th - Bruce flies in then off to tree behind the nest. Returns with a large fish... C07 asserts dominance over C08, whom gets a feed after C07 finishes its very long feed. In the afternoon a Dual feed takes place - Full crops all around.

The osprey (Pandion haliaetus) here in Florida are non-migratory.
