Yumiko wasn't actually in this episode. She was stuck in England cuz of Covid. They just used her voice.
Yes, people seem to forget that this was shot during a pandemic...
We could have received nothing instead of these 6 episodes.

Sadly, Princess never spoke to any of her friends after they were taken.
During her realization there was never a hatch in the wall for her to escape to talk to Eugene nor was there a broken piece of the wall for her to talk with Yumiko so she made everything up

Exactly. All characters were pieces of her. Multiple personalities developed by the abuse & neglect from her stepdad & mother. That's why she recites those cities, to keep her from splintering to another character.

@@JemHadar422 By the interrogator, I think so. I didn't see a bruise. She might have imagined the "bitch" part & the slap on the same spot from her stepfather. Might have been her imagining him. Since his face was also darkened.

She definitely made me feel some things in this one! The beginning especially broke my heart
Multiple personalities developed with her abusive stepfather & neglect/abandonment of her mother to cope with the pain. Her splinter represents I think her struggle with trusting anyone again. Her splintering to different personalities. She uses the city reciting game to keep from splintering. Great character reveal & building with her.

@@collegebro85 You're right, I remember his struggle. Although the people he hallucinated were much darker & attacked or judged him, as opposed to Princess' who support & protect her. But yeah, I suppose it's how their minds coped.
@@FEARNoMore I've always wanted a zombie tv show/movie to go deeper into the mental health aspect of something like this happening. No one would have meds, docs, or therapy.. I hope they go into it more.

Well, one of the Budget storm troopers did say in a conversation with another, that he never seen anyone turn so fast. So...technically someone did die but just off camera. lol

Bradeon, I want to disagree with you about no deaths. Somewhere in the back of my mind, there was another episode where no one, not even walkers died but I cannot remember. I want to say an episode in Season 5 but maybe a fan can help my memory.

I can't imagine any of them "turning" (betraying) the others. Plus, it seemed like a series convo, like can you believe what we saw!? Not a jokey one.

Yeah, Princess had already mentioned that she can be mentally unstable, she was always self aware, why when she met the group, she didn't want to be left alone again. This episode put us in her mind. They actually doing good, since they could only have 2 to 3 people in an episode due to covid.

It was a cool episode. I'm glad Princess calmed down at the end because she was doing the most in this episode!
I really liked this because it really gave us a great idea of why Princess is so quirky like she is and what lead her to not see another human for a full year. Her character is just very fun and different

I felt this one was less filler than the others...it got me more interested in what is coming. Out of all of these one off episodes I LOVED this one!! We got more of a clue as to who this group is...we found out Princess’ backstory and about her very creatively portrayed mental health issues.
Out of all of the single character focused episodes TWD has ever done this one was the most entertaining.
I agree with you about these "filler" episodes though I too hate that word. Season 10 ended with the Whisperer war. These episodes were gifts meant to highlight or showcase certain characters. Angela Kang has said we will see Leah in 11 and we'll see tonight's episode move forward in 11. But fans going into these episodes thinking they were going to see a continuation of the series were/will be disappointed.

WD has had plenty of moments that me stunned but holy crap this episode messed me up. I rewatched it and it makes so much sense, the convenient hole, Ezekiel entering like a hero, the interrogator’s face being in the shadows, even the cinematography seemed like it was playing in her head...so many great details, amazing episode imo.

some things that made me realise and question if all these things were actually happening:
_the convo with yumoki at the start, it just felt off, and you never saw her
_when princess and ezekiel were questioning and yelling at storm trooper dude, if you paid attention, the way the scene was directed, ezekiel would disappear behind princess, and it seemed like she was the only one in the room, like she was channeling her and ezekiel
_when storm trooper dude said "getting snatched up by some chick', he never mentioned ezekiel...cuz her was never there
i really enjoyed this ep and insight into princess' character
these bonus eps have great, and then when we jump into S11, we'll have all this character development and info, and S11 can hit the floor running

Great reaction, this was a perfect episode, Paolo Lazaro was freaking brilliant, this felt like an amazingly put together psychological thriller
There are two more episodes left in SE10. SE11 is returning in Summer 2021.
*Summer - June 20th - Sept 22nd.
TWD will return on Sunday June 20th, 27th, July 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, Aug 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, Sept 5th, 12th, or 19th.
Summer it always returns in October.

@@shawnsmith2610 Right. It normally returns in October but due to Covid they announced during TWD and Talking Dead it would be returning in Summer 2021. Summer is between June 20th and September 22. Fans have been going crazy because they are thinking it'll be returning in June but my guess is it'll be returning Sept 12th or 19th.
@@SergioTupacUzurin Just mark your calendar with X's on June 20th and Sept 22nd so you'll remember it's returning between these dates. My guess is it won't end up returning until Sept 5th, 12th, or 19th.

I'm happy you guys understand what these episodes are, so many people don't. Like Steven said, they are literally "filler" episodes, even the showrunners said so (not in those words but they did say they were just to fill in some character development). They weren't even meant to exist but AMC told them to film 6 small scale episodes that followed lockdown procedures whilst they waited until they could film a proper season - which they're doing now. Season 11 is coming this summer and Norman Reedus said in an interview that the episodes they're filming so far have been really big in scale and crazy so I'm excited

Speaking in terms of mental health, Princess’s overactive imagination in these situations would’ve gotten her through so much. Stuff like that helps so many people. But not knowing you’re pummelling a guy’s face is pretty extreme!
Isolation contributes a lot to these different states she experiencing.
I’m thinking of these episodes as “filler episodes”. Nothing substantial is expected to happen in them and it’s just filling in the time during the pandemic. So we could’ve either had these 6 stand-alone episodes or had a huge gap between season 10 and 11.
Each of these actors will have these episodes as a reminder of the pandemic too. Seeing how differently these episodes are filmed, so few people on set as you guys mentioned already, a once in a lifetime pandemic (hopefully just once!!) and how we all worked/isolated/and for them, how they created episodes.
Hope you guys are doing alright. How is it in Cali with the Covid situation? We haven’t heard much about your area back here in the U.K.

This espisode through me off. It was crazy and confusing but now I see what was happening. I didn’t realize she was tripping so now I get it. Like you said this is building up to season 11. Prooves to be interesting.

When she was talking to Yumiko and they never cut to her I had a feeling she may have been hallucinating but I didn't realize to what extent they where.
I also found it odd they had a weak piece of board to cover a hole.
The actress who plays Yumiko Wasn’t actually in the episode. She was stuck in her own country because covid.
The season finale... Here's Negan episode I already know its going to be the best out of these 6 episodes and I can't wait!

I’m really wondering how the CRM is gonna play into the Commonwealth if at all, they have to know about each other, the CRM seems way to widespread for them to not know.

Ep 22 can’t wait for April 4th
For me, this was my second favorite of the bonus episodes, behind the Aaron/Gabriel episode. I came to realize that after episode 2, expecting them to progress much in the storyline isn't going be realistic. Angela Kang and gang already knew what they were going to do in season 11, so at most we would get storyline additions (Princess backstory, Aaron freaked out, Negan seeing Maggie and Hershel, Daryl having a relationship and now obvious tension with Carol).
These episodes are like free pizza. Some of the pizza might not be great, but it's still pizza.
I agree. 3rd was Maggie & her group & last was Carol/Daryl/Dog/Leah.

I know you guys are watching a lot of shows, but have you heard of "The Last Kingdom"? It's a VERY good show. I've become so obsessed with it.
It is sorta Game of Thronesish, but honestly.. the writing is so good, and the characters are amazing. I highly recommend, even if you don't react too it, to give it a watch.

I have watched lots of tv shows of all genres and types there are and I have never thought that what seems to be a cartoon for kids would match the writing and characters like Breaking Bad, but this show really does. I don't know if you are drawn to only live action or just some types of shows but this show is not a typical kid's show as one would think. It deals with very heavy stuff and the characters and their conflicts are written better than most of what I've seen, It also deals with personal growth and has a lot of stuff that only adults can understand and one's who have experienced complexity of life. That's why it's emmy rewarded show that's probably the world's most rewarded or popular cartoon series there is, just giving my opinion here, think about it at least! (And it's fantasy like Game of thrones)

You learned something new about Princess that applies to a lot of women who had to survive abuse and protect themselves with no help: She can beat someone to death with her bare hands if sufficiently triggered. When viewers thought it was Ezequiel, they cheered. When they found out it was Princess, they call her "crazy." Hmmm.

Ezekiel has turned into a walker because of the cancer.. Pay attention to his head at the end of the episode. Only walkers make that movement with the head... They probably covered his mouth...
The Stormtrouper people have an @sshole way of introducing themselves. Princess can't be the first to take a swing at one of them because of the way they act

I have to admit that this episode was a big step down from the previous one but I did like that we got more information on Princess & little bit of info on these new people.
All in all, another filler but with some good moments!

Interesting episode, even it was just a setup chapter for whats coming up. TWD saga still manages to keep my interest after a decade. It's a shame that the next season will be the last, even though it will be expanded. There are so many characters on this show, with the newest being Princess, that this story could probably continue a few more seasons. Hopefully the planned spin-off with Daryl and Carol happens.

This is my favorite episode of all time now! INCREDIBLE. At first I thought, the Michonne episode would become my favorite, but after I´ve hyped over that glorious wideshot of that large group of people at the end a couple of times, there wasn´t that much left.
THIS however, with all the mindfucks, my new favorite character Princess (seriously, where do they hide all these AMAZING actors all the time, until they let them shine like this?) is hands down now my favorite, top1 Walking Dead episode of all time!!.....
