Honestly I don’t think their is an alternative vocalist better than mat because the way he can translate album sound to live is uncanny this band is so fucking rad
God this band is incredible. The way they sound almost identical to the album while also incorporating unique concert input is unmatched. I’m seeing them in November and I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a concert in my life. I’m so happy I know about this band.
Fucking LOVE how they played their set for Outbreak!!! It's so tight seeing Cit pipe it up and get the energy going!! Haven't seen this Matt since their Youth days. They absolutely killed ittttt

Young states and youth are good records but they don’t hold a candle to as you please or life in your glass world which is arguably their best record too date

personally i enjoy every one of their releases, each album has something i can enjoy and i can’t complain much (their 2 latest singles i haven’t liked too much tho). as much as we all love Youth, i get why maybe they don’t wanna make sad songs for the rest of their lives, happy to see their progression and growth over the years
I love this band so much. Amazing how they adapt to the energy in the room but still manage to deliver exactly what you hope to get from a Citizen show
the mix on this video didn't do some of these songs justice. guitars didn't need to be solely in one ear each, and mat's vocals shoulda been way louder.
the newer songs sound much better live than the recordings but damn post As You Please is just boring (Edit: post Big Mouth is boring. Big Mouth rules)
