The fun thing about wingsurfing is that you don't need lessons to start going. When the wind is light you can fly the X3 around on the beach and learn a lot by yourself. Here is also a video that might help you ruclips.net/video/8SHGsO4P6AQ/видео.html
Once you want to take it to the water, depending on your spot, it might help to take some lessons. If the conditions are really easy, flat water, not too deep, onshore wind, you can start practicing by yourself if you have the right board.
