Trust me I loved vanilla d1 aswell but it was pretty shit objectively and if it was better destiny as a franchise would be 50x bigger and more popular.

you're on playstation tho u can get games of clash, rift and control, only xbox players are forced to play weekly because majority of playstation uses a discord server while xbox is divided and only has a lfg
I’ve been saying this since D2 launch. Even with an average ass story D1 was better by far. It was truly unique and way ahead of it’s time even in old shitty consoles. I’ve debated in going back to play it quite a few times, but it’s even more dead than D2 😂
I think they need to make d2 more like d1, that’s how it’ll be great. Take away infinite primary, add real difficulty and remove champions, have all the patrol spaces be lethal like Neomuna, nerf crafting and make rng more reliable for acquiring god rolls and adepts, have special come from crates in pvp and much more to come
@@MrRemi1992 we’ll go pick it up lol. Primary weapons hold lots of ammo and primary is very easy to get. You shouldn’t be able to camp in one spot and have infinite ammo.
@@1chill_623 players are camped in the back because in D1 you had maybe 5 negative modifiers in endgame in D2 you have so many that they had to combine them because they couldn't fit on the screen to negate how on our guardians are. @@1chill_623 you're missing point. Enemies are tankier than they were in D1. Not to mention how often ammo bricks get sent flying or even fall of the map. While we get abilities back faster than ever before, having gameplay come to a total halt while all abilities are on cool down and I have to avoid one shots while peeking to look for ammo will lead to the exact same play style we have right now just players will run more guns with the perk shoot to loot.
Destiny was a better game over Destiny 2 because it took longer to produce and had content that could last even after September 2017. Since Destiny 2 came out their was always speculation over if the game would be better and I think “Forsaken” where they took out double primary weapons was the games best dlc. Hard to make a sequel with such little time to prepare and have them move on from Activision put more pressure on Bungie to produce a better game then the previous one in my opinion. Destiny 2 will always be a more critiqued game which also makes the game over analyzed then Destiny as well. I lost interest in Destiny 2 after “Curse Of Osiris” so I might of been a little biased over judging their better dlc’s later on though.

The imbalance and “dark age” of destiny 1 is what made it so popular. Poorly balanced pvp, an indirect reward system, and toxic gameplay loop keeps people invested because they’re never satisfied. Why do you think LoL stays #1 on the charts… people like getting angry from their games. It keeps them coming back. D2 doesn’t offer that.
d1 pvp is left in a very balanced state lol, they nerfed everything broken before d2 like sidearms, pulses and no land but they're all still viable just not broken
