What's going on folks?
I'm back with another video for 'Sam & Max Save the World Remastered' for the PC! For this video, I'll be playing through episode 5, "Reality 2.0", the penultimate episode before we're at the end! Hopefully we'll get the second season remastered soon!
Episode Summary:
With an internet crisis looming and a viral video game holding its players hostage, Sam & Max will need to slip into a new reality to set things right. But can the Freelance Police crack this virtual case in time to avoid worldwide system failure?
For the Sam & Max series, I try to exhaust every dialogue option possible as well as find unique interactions that will give you special dialogue from characters. This is why my video walkthroughs are longer than other content creator's uploads.

@@DarkBear it's a lyric from the 12 days of Christmas song. it's funny because this video is uploaded in December, which is the month of Christmas. also, gold coins is a common video game trait.
I like the updated graphics and all, but that thumbnail is downright terrifying. Still good though.

I'm not a fan of some of the new tweaks they gave this game, but I do appreciate the faster loading screens. That was the one part of the original games that I really hated.

Lol! Damn, what an episode & playthrough of it!
This episode had numerous video game references in it as well. From your usual RPG Style Play, Mario & Zelda references, as well as one of those getting the Goal Item into the correct spot while that item shuffles around making it hard to get it all in. Then finally that Boss Segment Section of the game in which YOU have to literally choose your action in order to get out of Reality 2.0. Which is pretty hard due to all the reading for some. Regardless, it was fun seeing!
Also that C.O.P.S. Song was pretty funny & a bit catchy. Though Max was pretty annoyed by it of course. Haha! Also that Scarface reference at 1:25:31 when Sam placed the Computer Bug on Bob the Phone to help shrink him & Max. Seems fitting & funny at the same time. Real funny! Oh yeah! And it looks like I found that game & part of a scene which I first saw & heard on Twitter by a user I follow on there last year. It was at 2:12:43 when Max asked if they're dead & Sam wonders if they have any 1-Ups. Now I'm glad that I got into it.
Only one more Episode of Sam & Max: Save the World Remastered & I would be done of seeing all of your Playthrough/Gameplay/Walkthrough of Same & Max: Save the World Remastered & will get started on your Sam & Max: Beyond Time & Space Remastered Playthrough/Gameplay/Walkthrough! Can't wait to see (When I have time & when it comes) how this game ends in the Final Episode of this game.
I never noticed that Bosco uses his binoculars when Sam and max talk to Jimmy

Also, the 'electron surge' interaction with Max changes with each location.
Is it just me or did the ending kinda get to anyone like me. The way she says “im sorry”
HELP! I've gotten to 1:47:50 but "bonco" doesn't show up as an option! And the game won't let me exit the area
Edit:panic over I just noticed desoto to the right, I had really thought I soft-locked the game
I have to admit though, Bosco's new voice *does* grow on you after a while.
When I played it, I honestly wasn’t expecting the information on the names to be selected automatically after the other buttons.
I swear, this new voice actor who's playing Bosco is doing a bad job trying to do what the old voice actor did.
Even when he says "nay" it's just sounds weak along with the accent
I agree, but at least i think this is the best accent so far.
I mean nothing can replace the old Bosco, but at the same time, I think it could have been much, much worse.

Like I get the previous line could be taken the wrong way, but the shock value line "He was less creepy as the elf" made sense.
At least say like ... I don't know... "Margaret Thatcher" or a joke that Bosco has no idea about the internet. Or hell, a furry joke.
Yea. I personally don't mind that they changed the lines, but I wished they tried to come up with replacement jokes.
Like in Episode 1, they should of changed the Tear Gas Launcher joke into some sort of fart joke instead of cutting it off.

Also, if the original joke was made today, I would of made into some sort of joke about Discord Admins.
I'm at least glad they re-added the breasts joke in Episode 6.

I don't think so, but there is a free DLC for the Steam release that lets you play the original, but I don't think you can earn Steam achievements

Yea no that bosco voice will never sound right to me, and on top of joke censorship it’s just, bleh. A shame because the game looks really nice visually now.
Not to start a war in the comments, but can someone tell me why the joke censorship and voice change that big of a deal, the game's still really funny and it's only like a couple (including one that you need to pay attention to the license plates in order to notice)
@@Star.6739 censorship of original content isn’t good. Other games go overboard with its censorship and the topic has been building for years. Just because you don’t find it important doesn’t mean it isn’t, and that’s not to start an argument with you that’s just a statement of how many feel when something they love gets rereleased but has been gutted to any extent.
This tends to be especially egregious with translating and localizing games from other countries, as localizers and executives push their own personal agendas into the localizations instead of faithfully translating the source material.
