His up special fires a grappling hook. It can be aimed at a diagonal angle, and you can use it to pull your opponents closer and latch onto edges. His side special invokes Eiha with a mere finger snap. The initial hit isn't very strong, but it does inflict additional damage over time. And know this: These are not even their final forms! The full power of these special moves must be UNLEASHED! The trick is down special, Rebel's Guard. Joker's Rebellion Gauge fills up slowly over time, when he gets hit by an opponent, or when he's behind in terms of damage or stock. And by using Rebel's Guard, you can fill the gauge faster while reducing any damage received by half! If you press and hold the button after the move is activated, you can even defend from combo attacks! When you release the button, the opponent will get knocked back. Once his Rebellion Gauge is full, he'll unmask and summon a manifestation of his Persona, Arsene! Until the gauge runs out, Arsene will assist Joker in a powerful way. With his Persona by his side, Joker can deal additional damage with each attack. Beyond that, his special moves will change. His neutral special upgrades to Gun Special. It handles the same as before, only now you'll fire threefold per shot. His up special transforms into Wings of Rebellion. Using Arsene's wings, he'll swiftly rise up. While this move won't deal damage, it will make you invincible for a time - so, have a safe flight! For his side special, Arsene invokes Eigaon. This large blast repeatedly hits opponents, inflicting them with longer-lasting additional damage. His down special performs one of two counterattacks, each triggering automatically. For melee attacks, you'll counter with Tetrakarn, and projectiles can be deflected with Makarakarn. Oh, by the way, Arsene is completely invincible! And then there's Joker's Final Smash, All-out Attack. After cutting through foes, he'll launch a coordinated strike with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. In case the first slice didn't cut it, he can try once more by tilting the Control Stick back in the other direction! Arsene doesn't change Joker's Final Smash, so feel free to use it whenever you want.

Sakurai himself said that he designed the Smash Ultimate UI after Persona 5’s, so it wouldn’t really be farfetched for him to straight up recommend the game.

I must say that the attention to detail in the mementos scenario changing his color depending on the music played proves the care that the team had for this character.
After playing Persona 3 and 4 I appreciate the music and color change so much more

Coming back to this since 2019, we have Joker from Persona 5 in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. This year of June 28th of Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable is finally coming to Nintendo Switch.
It’s so beautiful. It’s everything I could’ve ever wanted from a DLC. No one better ever attack Sakurai again. That man puts the most love into anything he does.
I mean nothing wrong with constructive criticism.
Just Songo constructive criticism isn’t attacking though.
Like, it’s one thing to say that this game mechanic or the that characters needs some improvement.
It’s another thing to send him threats for not including a certain character (like what a enough Waluigi fans did when the game was properly announced that Dakurai has said that Waluigi is one of the only characters he’ll never put as a playable character.)

When the hype for the DLC is so real that the E-Shop is down and nobody can update their games.
Updated and still couldn't get Joker( pre bought) because eshop was down it's a hard knock life
Can’t believe it has been almost 5 years since this came out…
Re-watching these for nostalgia. I remember when me and my brother binge-watched these over and over to the end of time waiting for the new characters.
