I had the pleasure of meeting Chris last year when I met him in Halk's front yard. He made me aware that just a few weeks prior that we were the only two boats on the north side of Montauk in some very snotty conditions but nevertheless we continued to keep fishing! I saw him always looking my way but at the time I did not know of him but he knew of me from the videos and it felt safe to know someone else was out there just in case. After I got to meet him, I walked away thinking how nice of a young man Chris is and I was excited about the passion he has for fishing just as I do and had when I was his age. But I also walked away saying that I would also love to bring him along on some of my own trips not just because he is a nice kid but also because he is a true fisherman! Chris...I am thinking about you and I will pray for you and I know you are gonna get through this. Get well soon my friend because we have some fluking to do!!!
hey chris, I heard you were in the hospital. I'm a fishermen on long island as well and I'm currently in the hospital as well. Stay strong man, I know being in the hospital sucks but you just gotta have your mind in the right place. I've been in and out of the hospital for 25 years maybe more. Best advice I can give you to keep you entertained is hook up to the wifi and keep watchin fishin videos!! lol thats what I do all day long. learn knew knots, check out other ppls pages, hope on google earth maybe and look up spots where I wanna check out next etc etc you know what I mean. I hope you get better quick man and get back out there and pull up some heads!! take care -sean
