Parâng Resort | Petrosani

Because of the wind, I couldn't stay too long in the Valcan Pass, and to ride the Jiu Valley road to Targu Jiu would have been too much for one day (and so on that day I did 565Km in total). That's how I got the idea to go up to the Parang Resort near Petrosani.
I got off in Petrosani where I took DN7A, a road that connects DN66, DN7 and DN67C (Transalpina), until it turned towards Obarsia Lotrulu, after which I continued on DJ709F which went up to the resort.
It is 14.2 km from Petrosani to where the asphalt ends, and from there it is another 2.5 km on foot to the peak of Parangul Mic (2074 m).
Up there is a parking lot from which you can see the entire Petrosani Depression and the mountains that surround it, as well as a bit of the Hateg Depression.

Suuuuuper clipul. Demult vroiam sa scriu dar abia acu am reușit. Descrierea traseului și detaliile excelente. Un traseu ce urmează sa-l fax și eu. Am fost pe-acolo doar iarna cu mașina. Cu motoru nu, cu toate că anul trecut am fost prin zonă de 3 ori ,de fiecare dată când am venit de la Obârșia Lotrului. Ce casca folosești, și traseul în cât timp l-ai făcut ? Și încă odată felicitări pentru ce faci.

Multumesc de comentariu. Casca este Scorpion Exo1400, iar traseul l-am facut intr-o zi. Am pornit dimineata din Arad iar in aceeasi zi am facut si traseul pe Dealul Babii si Pasul Valcan fiind destul de apropiate intre ele
