I agree. I have a 03 nb Miata for my weekend and project car as well. It is the same color as your and yea I know, my prefer color for the Miata has always been red but those are more expensive given the same condition but reliable and cheap car to work on. Great choice. 👍
Thanks for watching and congrats on your NB. I have a couple of videos I have to edit on the work I’ve done to it but it’s been such a massive learning experience for me. Any mods you’re looking at doing to yours?
"A recipe for smiles"... great way to put it. By the way, in regard to the hard top. If you have to have one for your local track for sure get it. However, on my particular 2001 Miata, the hardtop was annoying. It was noisier, squeaking and wind noise and reduced rearward visibility as well. I would not spend the money for a hard top, unless you really needed it for tracking.
Thanks for watching! I need to contact my local autocross chapter and see if they require it or if roll bar would be enough. I also considered aftermarket just for those days but after shipping, it’s pretty much the same as a local used oem one. Then there’s fitment issues and some even require assembly. That market is nuts right now. I have a backup camera that I need to finally install to help with visibility.
