I love how we can thank Joerg Sprave for several of these inventions.
without a doubt, he is the GOAT
"Let me show you its features... ha Ha HA!"
He’s been very quiet lately though there’s lots of pressure from the tube and the German government to shut him down
The fenris is the shit, I am building an Adderini at 80llbs currently
Sad he isn't mentioned in the video at all
Joerg Sprave has been designing and building unique crossbows for years.
Congratulations! Your claim that Joerg Sprave's creations are "unique" is The Understatement of the Day™
Let me show you it's features! Ha ha ha ha.
When I was a kid I had a cap gun that loaded the red strips of caps. Despite the fact that it had the back end of the barrel sealed we discovered the force of the cap going off was sufficient to propel a pop corn kernel from the barrel. We used to have battles around my friends yard since he had a play house and slide.
Corn pop lore 😮
We used to smash the role with a hammer, it was quite loud
Back in the "olden days" we had "pop guns". Lever action toy rifles that just fired compressed air and made a noise (the original kind had a cork on a string in the end). We learned pretty quickly that jamming the barrel into hard dirt or gravel turned it into a real, live shotgun! Many a day you'd go home with cuts and bruises from small stones and occasionally someone would have a close call with an "all fun and games 'till someone loses and eye" episode.
When I was a kid we padded our clothes put on our snowmobile helmets and used CO2 177 and 22 bb guns to play war. Vietnam kids, I actually had some pretty good wounds from a few that got through the thin area's. Who the hell was watching us or not watching. Anyway we all survived, none of us went on to prison. Now days kids bring real guns to school. 🌎✌️😊
@@thomasmcfeely8869 Yup, did that too! Pair of ski goggles was our only protection sometimes - until we learned that "The goggles do nothing!" It was all fun and games till someone very nearly lost an eye!
jeorg made it on this list twice! he genuinely innovated both the crossbow and the bow
The Fenris Bow accessory was an "invention" from Jörg Sprave (Slingshot Channel) called Instant Legolas. Kekw
Sliding Legolini ... is another lifesaver .
My God I love that man ... no weirdo stuff
Its a bow that still Jack's back under pressure.. Criss Cross bow
Cool video - just so you guys know though, the "grappling hook cannon" works by replacing the upper receiver on an AR-15. Sorry to be "that guy" but just for information's sake: "The Can Cannon operates via a proprietary gas tube, with a blocking bar that prevents live ammunition from being loaded. When a blank is chambered and fired the proprietary tube diverts the high-pressure gas vertically into a larger tube. The volume of the larger tube reduces the high-pressure gas, preventing it from destroying relatively delicate projectiles like a soda can. When fired at an optimum angle (approximately 45 degrees) a soda can reach an average distance of 105 yards! The Cannon is designed to use military m200 blanks."
Blanks do use gunpowder
presumably, the 105-yard range is achieved with a full can?
The can cannon is very much a gunpowder powered weapon.
You would think they would have realize that when they said blanks 😂
It’s also not technically a “weapon” meant for killing either. It’s mostly used to launch T-shirt’s and dildos
Glad to see "the slingshot channel" featured twice in this one
It gives you a deeper appreciation for your factory made guns when you try building your own from scrap. Single shots are easy but autoloaders are left level of difficult
Hopefully you can 3d print them, if they're modular enough :)
Narrator said, “slingshot arrow was banned in several countries and rightly so.” Dude definitely isn’t from America. I think he’s got some brown stuff on his nose from sniffing the governments bum.
@@Eduardo_Espinoza I hate polymer and plastic guns. They're junk
@@scapegoat1313 hopefully metal 3d printers become affordable :)
IF you use it properly 1 shot is all you need.
I love how this channel always cheers me up no matter what. Kudos!
Purchased an msr dragon fly stove 20 years ago. Been burning automotive gasoline in it with no issues. The set up time is more than most but once you learn your gear its no big deal. Works great in the cold and good for cooking for larger parties 3 or 4 people as the heat output is significant. I love it. Ill never use a canister stove again as ive had to many issues in the cold. Northern Minnesota being my stomping ground. I am intrigued by your solid fuel and alchohol options though and look forward to giving them a try.
Pls do more stuff like that! Never miss the new uploads
The 6 bolt hand Xbow, is also a long time in steal and in production for years, and it would also kill a bear. It’s called the stinger produced in Austria invented also by sprave like the bow u showed. It actually a very fast and effective weapon.
Congratulations you've been selected among my giveaway offer hit me up 🔝🔝 on tele-gram for package.....🎁🎁🎁🎁
And these can also go through standard Kevlar armor
It cannot be overstated that these are magazine fed hand crossbows with an optional speed loader that operates like a stripper clip a la old school Garand.. For me, the 6 bolt magazine is what puts the Steambow Stinger(2)ahead of many of the weapons in this video
The last one wasn't also invented by Jörg Sprave? He called it the instant Legolas I think
YES! YES HE DID! I think thats the exact same model he showed on his channel like a week ago.
The Lancehead cross bow looks remarkably similar to the one that my dad had both US and foreign pattens on it would have been granted the between 1970- 1973 give or take. He had refused several offers for his design that ranged from Mattel’s to the Us Military and had not come to an agreement with any at his death. There are only 2 prototypes that I’m await of. His however looked more streamline and at first glance looked similar to a double barrel shotgun.
Absolutely love the tool
The Patent, if not given to anyone in his will, the patent would be passed to his next of kin. It did not open due to his death and you could check for patent infringement.
I find it humorous that two of the designs are originally from Jorge Sprage [apologies if I'm misspelling]; that last bow is also someone updated his design into aluminum/plastics.
That MAMBA Reverse Crossbow is calling out my name to go buy it.

We made pocketshots out of a plastic tubes, baloons and tape when I was a kid (in the mid eighties). The peas hurt like hell when they hit you.
that gamo is sick and the pocket shot with arrows is awesome as well.
If you give up your guns - they'll come after your catapults, crossbows, airguns - That's what i got from this.
The lancehead uses coil springs its a very clever design and totally unique
Imagine living in a country that you can get in trouble for a plastic toy gun that shoots pencils.
We are almost there.
Very dangerous. Better stop that

The can Canon does need gun powder. Literally blew the name of the video
Nice that you asked me for permission to use my footage.
Remember the potato cannon ? Made of soup can’s and duck tape. Powered by lighter fluid . Big bang ‼️
My uncle made a potato gun out of ABS pipe + quick start (ether). Had a big party for his motorcyclist friends, with a campfire & drinking. Waited 15 seconds after his buddy entered the porta-potty & fired a potato at it from 20ft; guy came scrambling out with his pants at his ankles. He nearly had a stroke. 🤣🇨🇦
Pocket Shot Arrow Kit seems to gives the best bang for the buck. And it doesn't look like a weapon.

Very Interesting @ all the weaponry! J
two inventions from the same guy in this video. jörg sprave ❤️
I am completely mind blown about watching this slingshot. Who would have thought..

If they had youtube when I was a kid, I wouldn't be alive.
Love this channel
Amazing how weapons that don't need gunpowder cost more than ones that do
gun
noun
1.
a weapon incorporating a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force, typically making a characteristic loud, sharp noise.
These are the toys for the rich kids. I may never get to afford probably in my lifetime. I have made a countless number and a variety of good decent enough homemade slingshots since I was 8 yrs old. I’m now 51. And still into the craft today. So far I can say I’m well satisfied enough with my own creations. Technically The main key to a good powerful slingshot lies in the quality of the elastic bands and the efficienciy of the projectile. The heavier and larger the projectile, the greater the damage it can inflict. The projectile must come in balanced harmony with the elasticity of the bands for the slingshot to be effective.
2 of these were desigend by Joerg Sprave, everyone should subscribe to the slingshot channel if you like the weapons featured here....
Oh god yes, that guy is the king of none gun powder weapon's, I made his coat hanger cross bow with high tensile fishing wire goes half way into an apple, even tried it on a meat shank still went in about 2 inches, its a truly dangerous useable weapon, I use sharpened chopsticks in mine with fins, I just use a pencil sharpener to make them pointy and away you go.
@@jamesfry8983 Awesome, its great that he shows weapons that viewers can make themselves, and even 3d print. Techzone could do a whole video just on Joergs commercial weapons alone, i love the scubaringer...
@@neoaliphant Yes as a scuba diver when im in warm waters I always take it with me, if you aim at the sharks head despite the small size of the projectile it makes them think twice about eating/mauling you also used it to catch a few tuna
@@jamesfry8983 You haveJoergs scubaringer!! i see theres a version 2, its very innovative, i wondered if it could fire 12 guage flares, which would make sense ina marine device, they did make some army issued survival kut combination spearguns/signal flare launchers that were blank fired. a scubaringer that could also shoot flares would be cool. even cooler if it could be used as a grappling hook launcher as the titaner grappling hook is almost 12 ga shell sized
@@neoaliphant I guess so but I only have version 1 which does work great I am thinking of getting version 2 but I just dont do enough diving at the moment to think of getting it, I do think you could use 12 gauge flares in it as well as other things of that nature.
Weapons which use no gunpowder-"this one uses blanks"!

WOW!.
The balloon slingshot,.
I used make something similar as a kid with a bottle cap with a pencil size hole drilled in the center and a water balloon attached...
Some of those were just toys and not suitable for hunting or self defense at all. Those Rail guns don't fire a projectile with enough force to be used for hunting or self defense, they are pretty weak, they'd hurt if hit with them but that's about it. Anything that can launch a projectile near 100 meters per second or better is suitable hunting small game, you need about 150 meters per second or better to hunt something as large as a deer. Those PCP Air Rifles can be obtained that fire a .50 Cal. pellet or arrow, those are suitable for bigger game such as deer. They launch a 1/2" diameter pellet at 650 feet per second. Those pellets even come that explode and come with armor piercing, which will drive a slightly smaller projectile a few inches deeper upon impact. The Crossbow, without the leafs and the PCP Air Gun are your most lethal options in that video.
I'm a slingshot shooter, as a sport! And my personal opinion on it is,,,slingshots and guns should never be combined! Unless it's a survival situation!
Can it cook a 2 inch 2 pound medium rare steak?
Some very interesting weaponry.
Words will always be mankind's deadliest weapon ...
These toys really make me glad to live where I don't have to depend on them for protection.

TOYS!!!, lets hope you never get one!!
Getting hit in the forehaid or chest with an 18mm ball bearing is sure to hurt. I would be more likely to use a weapon that won’t go through 3 walls, because always be sure of your target.
Pretty cool stuff.
i built a compressed air mini cannon that shoots golf balls rapid fire for a rural home installation of a person that may no longer own conventional firearms. even if your wearing a vest, its breaking something
the 3rd unit you showed, the pocket bow or what ever it's called, was a weapon developed and used in prisons over 40 years ago. Prisoners would cut the finger off a heavy rubber glove, stuff some material in the finger tip, then fire a sharpened welding rod which could kill a man at a good distance.
LoL yes that is true. 😂
I always felt that the number one weapon was the high velocity crossbow. No noise, no ballistics, accuracy, and collapseable. Can't beat that...
Really? Ballistics is the field of mechanics concerned with the launching, flight behavior and impact effects of projectiles
Exactly. Now where were you at 6pm on July the 25th. of 2022 ? I pulled about a half a dozen bolts out of my pet Cassowary...now, were you just defending yourself or are you just a monster ? [just kidding]
Theres noise. Thats why they make string silencers.
Even a totally silenced crossbow still makes a significant amount of noise... maybe not for a battlefield, but for "quiet" situations.
you lose reload speed tho, its great if you have the jump on what your shooting and can take it down in 1 shot maybe 2 if youre lucky
You totaly missed the coolest gun without gunpowder. The vacume cannon.
This can be good for crime fighting weapons! Even Batman can be jealous.
Don't know if I'd want to hunt Wild Boar with a 9mm airgun 😂
"I'm going to copy that crossbow, but if you copy my copy, I'll sue you"
"...banned and rightly so..." No, the people should have no restrictions on weapon ownership. Period.
these weapons are perfect for an Assasins
There's a market for weapons that don't need powder.
Check out the DeWalt battery operated M16 that will shoot a 16 penny galvanized finish nail through a two-by-four at 250 ft
Leave innocent animals alone.
Two of the weapons here come from Jorg Sprave who is a living legend and he opensourced his designs and given them to everyone...
Imagine in an apocalypse where regular gun powder bullets all ran out, those who have these weapons would rule
4:30.. Each band breaks 2nd shot.. Do they supply LIFETIME AMMO

Gotta remember that slingshots are about half as much power as you'd think, as you have no power input the moment the spring goes slack and that's normally about half the draw length.
Also: that TC-45 isn't powerful enough for Australian wild boar, you need something that'll reliably go through the front of the skull at 50+m and you need a fast second shot just in case; our wild boars are 1/4 tonne and huge.
Modern flat bands can be stretched up to around 5 times their length iirc.
The further you pull, the more power and the shorter the lifespan of the bands.
@@lordgarion514 yup. It's why a bow of the same draw weight is both more powerful overall and longer lasting. Although harder to put in a pocket....
I don't know how I ended up here, but I want them all!
the thing at 10:28 fenris is actually a invention made by the youtuber jorgen spraeve the instnat legolas to reload bows and such faster
The grappling hook cannon uses blanks, that’s still gunpowder, right?
I bought one of the slingshots like the one in the Thumbnail.
It has good power but the triggers on them are very heavy.
Nothing kills large groups of innocent people like gunpowder.
I seriously doubt that 1st air rifle can take a wild boar. And I mean SERIOUSLY doubt. Maybe with only the most perfect of shots on small ones. It's basically a very low power 9mm. I think it would be irresponsible to use that on anything bigger than small game.
I don't know man. I watched one of these specials on a gas powered rifle. You had to get the tank filled at a special location. The man straight stalked and dropped a male lion. I mean dropped his ass! I was extremely impressed.
@@slystone5432 I believe you. I've seen the power of compressed air firsthand, but that specific air rifle in the video is a 9mm only moving around 800-850 fps I think. 9mm pistol is around 1200 fps. I don't think that specific air rifle is appropriate for even medium size animals.

The grappling hook requires a blank round which uses gunpowder.
truly,
When one of those rubber strings breaks, is your eye right behind?
After seeing more of the designs I noticed that the hunting slingshot rifle has more of the features of my dads patterned design. The one I just mentioned uses the same cocking mechanism, and the slingshot rifle has almost identical design to load it including the pouch that is attached to the tubing. There are really no other features in appearance that are similar and it does not look to use the same materials in the non mechanical parts. I was approached about 15 years ago by a man looking to purchase the prototype so that he could reproduce it being a collector of crossbow type devices. I didn’t have one of the two prototypes but he mailed me a printed copy of my dads Patton. I stated I had seen the weapon but not the actual patten itself but remember the weapon and had even fired it. I know that I had no problem with loading cocking or shooting it at about 9-10 years old. I know his design he used steel ball bearings and also had an attachment to enable the use of arrows. I am now very interested on who holds this patten which is almost identical in mechanisms to my dads, with a very different design in the stock as well as barrels and materials used for the above mentioned items.
The patent office was designed to steal peoples ideas for elite use and their use only, not to protect every day peoples inventions.
There are no patents for these designs Jörg Sprave did. You can find his videos about legal work related to patents, laws, lawyers, costs etc.. He decided he would not put any patents so anyone could make one on his own. There was little to no interest from manufacturers when he asked companies. Currently, a few are using it. Jörg concluded that patents are now only for big companies because a single designer can't afford to defend even plain stealing of an idea when facing a corporation in court.
In the case of such companies, millions and billions are at stake, so it's vital to have it. Owning a patent makes it more expensive the more it is used. So, both the owner and legal user pay small fortunes each year.
As I said, nobody holds any of these patents. His designs were commissioned as originals, so he made all of them available over the Internet. Making patenting any of them impossible. The prime things for registering the patents are: "zero other individual claims, zero popular knowledge (let alone use) of subject and zero available materials, characteristics and designs of it." That's because patents are for NEW THINGS only.
BTW. Jörg Sprave always pays respect to designers if there are any he knows.
I also had an idea of a scooter with a half-sitting position and a single frontal glass for rainy days, but it does not make me a designer. Even if I made the tech documentation with drawings and details.
3:59 This thing is actually legal where I live 🇸🇪 even if it is Technically Slingshot / gun, but where I live it’s just Identified as a slingshot
pcp air rifles are stupid expensive but you can find some reasonable prices but they are really fun to shoot
What's the name of the slingshot with the pouch that could be illegal in some countries? Do you have a link for your viewers to buy it?
Pocket Shot is the brand name for that one,,there are a bunch of knock off's out there too.
10,400$ for a bow! You've gone Funny Bruv...

I guess people don't really know what a crossbow is anymore
The projectile that is fired from a crossbow is called a bolt. Not an arrow.
unless it's a long-draw crossbow and it uses the same arrows bows do. 'bolt' is an arrow-like projectile shorter and normally heavier than an arrow.
If the "grappling hook cannon" uses blanks... it isn't gunpowder free...
So how do you get the grappling hook out of the tree??? Enquiring minds need to know.
Simple you cut the tree down. 😜
You take it out when you get up there
