- Most of us have lived in homes with some…shall we say… quirks. There might have been a random door leading to nowhere, an unusual layout, or maybe a terrible paint scheme. But I’m pretty confident they were nothing like these homes. From a toilet-shaped house to one that was originally a water tower, here are 20 most unusual houses in the world.

I appreciate channels that feature the thumbnail first. I was forwarding through the video to find the thumbnail and realized you featured it first. Thank you!!
Props to the uploader for putting the thumbnail as the first home.
the house on the river being rebuilt every time its destroyed is so awesome. those friends made something for everyone to enjoy for many many years
I remember I knew this guy back when we were in high school. Him and his parents lived in the pie house. It’s weird to say but when you are inside that house, it’s quite amazing how spacious it feels.
I miss going there.
It's definitely cool architecture. I wonder if it can hold up to an earthquake or hurricane, though?
There aren't hurricanes or earthquakes in Illinois.
@@ATMOSK1234 true! It was more of a general question.
I guess I don't see the point when it is on such a large plot of land.
As the daughter of an architectural engineer, I tend to be very discerning when it comes to buildings. There were interesting points about most of those houses. I loved the pie house and the water tower house, especially.
As for the toilet house, just because it's creator was born in a toilet doesn't mean he had to stay there. How sad the stool concious is being encouraged like that.
The Flintstone house looked pretty unique in it's original form. Adding that garish paint and the Flintstone characters just makes something that had unique beauty now look tacky, which is sad.
The S house now, that was just completely HORRIFYING. Horrifying enough that there is absolutely zero privacy but at the very least they could have made it look nice. It was butt ugly! The toilet house looked better, to be honest.
To end on a positive note, apart from the pie house the the water tower, I also especially loved the porcelain house. How practical it actually is, I don't know, but it sure was beautiful!
Do not love that the inside of the houses weren’t really showcased. Which makes the whole thing less impressive.
Actually what if people live there so he can't show the interior be respectful 😠😠😠
People laugh at my home, i won't let them in. Respect and be respected.
What domes? I see a guy poking out of a dumpster and the same gut in a storage pod bedroom.
We need these homes here in Canada🇨🇦
Actually Wanted To See Inside The Airplane House
The Dumpster House had a Dome home narration? Maybe that needs to be fixed? With that said the only two houses I would consider staying in are the pie house and water tower house.
I was looking for this response and doubted my own existence when i scrolled and saw no one mention it? Thanks for making me sane again, lol.
@@wheninroamful me too
The house on the rock is pointless. To keep putting it back up is a sign that it shouldn't be there
These houses are so crazy defo gonna watch this again.
I would love to live in the aircraft house!🤩 I was SO looking forward to a tour inside!...
The dome homes are obviously dumpsters.
The pie house is kinda like the TARDIS. It's bigger on the inside
Would have loved to see the right side or back of the pie house.
Liked because thumbnail is in the first 1 minute of the video.
I had to laugh when he said "an incredible 2 and a half bathrooms." Seriously? That's a pretty standard number. What makes it incredible?
Because of the size of the house...
Where do you live then? Because in the UK one bathroom is 'standard'. Not everywhere is the same by your standard...
Why I giggled also...he ment that shit 🤣🤣🤣
In Austria we have only one standard bathroom.
I live in Europe, one bathroom is the norm here. 2,5 bathroom is incredible to me. #countyourblessings
Who would go to a toilet museum that’s ridiculous
You should see the Toilet Restaurant they have.. they even serve ice cream in a miniature toilet cup. And the seats are toilets...🤣😂 People are just bored and running out of ideas.
@@alysanchez7795 where the hell is this lol, that’s crazy ….. imagine being on a road trip , your family hungry, you stop only place around and it’s that lol….. amazing they in business
@@donnyfoster1859 toilet restaurant in taiwan. CHECK OUT Miss Mina she gives a tour...
@@alysanchez7795 miss Mina 😂, I’m a Check that out now
My guess is someone who’s having a shitty day 😂
Love to find one of those homes so much interesting and nice
Thanks for the content and thanks for being genuine.
I'm glad you aren't like other channels who use thumbnails that have nothing to do with the video for click bait.
@@sheepwolf1st Could it be that someone created dumpster homes and named it Dome homes? Did you think about that?
What else has names that aren't a reflection of what they are? I'll give you two examples. Iceland isn't a land of ice. Anti-social doesn't mean a person isn't social.
I grew up in Highland Park (where Michael Jordan lived for many year and whose borders go in and out of Deerfield) and never heard of the Pie House. Crazy.
I lived in Lake County and never heard of the Pie House
It doesn't seem to look like 8t shows but what do i know
Very nice house and vedio sir I like it very much
#5 here... great video.
Something weird. The footage of the dumpster house had a dome home narration over it.
Came here to say this!
I’ve heard many videos purposely make mistakes in text , vids & images to get more comments
Idk if that’s what happened here, or if they just didn’t have anything to show for the dome ones
Okay I was like do they call dumpsters domes! 😂
Now why would you talk about Dome Homes for earthquake survivors in Indonesia, and then show garbage container homes on slabs?
WTF is #14? "Dome Home?" That's a repurposed garbage bin. Describe it accurately, yeah?
Good 👍😊
That's awesome 👍
Born in a toilet? Whoa.
I know someone who was born in a toilet😊
The pie house is so funny to me, your relatives will think your living in a mansion just taking a picture in front of it until they come to visit, "Where's the rest of the house?" 😅
I actually close me eyes when you show the bug !!
I'd love to own the hobbit home and the #20 house is called a spite home
Amazing
This is amazing how cool each crazy house has there own special story behind them and how these people who built them or thought of them are so creative my fav is the pie house love THIS video Well done 💎💓💐😜🤓😝 💅💅
I would think "dome homes" would be more round and look less like a garbage dumpster.
Love all of it
A lot of these weird houses don't mention a bathroom or shower.😖😖😖
The airplane house is the perfect house for a zombie apocalypse
#14 were not Dome Homes out of concrete - You showed pictures of trash bin recycled homes out of steel containers....??
It's a mirage!
That Dreena house would be a awesome Airbnb/vacation spot
Time check 2:03 am... watching from Philippines
Time check 1:32 pm… watching from United States
I have always loved The Hobbit Houses on The Lord of The Rings Movies. I saw one that a Woman built Here in The United States. I think that She lived in Wyoming?!
Anyway, Ever since then I have wanted to own one. Well, hopefully, Someday, My Husband and I can have one.
Crazy 🤪
That #10 house made me anxious just looking at it! 😮
Didn’t actually see the inside of any of these homes. The pie house had to be wider than stated. Not good🤷♀️
Its shaped like a wedge. Its 3 ft wide at the narrowest part ( the part you see from the outside in the vid ) and gradually widens to 20 ft wide. Its called the pie house bc its shaped like a slice of pie...like a wedge. So those probably were pics of the actual inside. Pay more attention next time.
The flat house be built on steel beams.. that’s crazy it could take any wind.
Nice 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Wow they are nice ❤
Pretty interesting houses. Just one thing, the airplane house couldn't have been built to look like an A380. The A380 wasn't built until the early 2000s with a first flight in 2005.
Who in the world would even consider building a home shaped like a toilet! But the bigger question who go to a toilet museum!
Huh……the “dome home” is a dumpster. NO DOME.
Definitely the hobbit house. Love the idea of rolling hills... so safe and blending in to nature. Beautiful
Love live the hobbit house
That cool
I live in IL and never heard of the Pie House. Of course when I looked up the town and realized it was right by Chicago it made sense.
I live literally 3 miles away (Central and Sheridan 60035) and never knew it was there.
I love watching the film but on mute, but the voice over is 😫
Unbearable.
I’M ON A ROCK; I’M ON AN ISLAND…
funnily by accident we came across the heliodome when we were travelling through france by car and were looking for some farm shops. The people there were very nice and the house looks fascinating!
OMG I Laughed at the Size of This House, Until I Saw Inside
#19 from different angles, I keep thinking it looked like a Sphynx
Am I missing something? Why are they talking about dome homes in Indonesia while showing pictures of a guy in a renovated garbage can?
The flat house not skinny lol
How long do you wear your hair? I find that attractive, describe how it looks?
I would love to live in the Pie house.
Cool
why there is no shoe house? I love that I seen that when I was a child I don't know where it is located.
No one is gonna mention #12 the homeless guy having a horrible life living in basically a tent? 😅😅 Hope it gets better for him, but wth is he on this list for lmao.
Sweden don't just have the Tree house hotel but also the UTTER INN (in the middle of the sea with a under water view), and mashroom hotel. Oh and then theres the Icehotel and Kolarbyn Eco Lodge. Except for the Icehotel the others may not be as unique but they are interesting anyway.
The first one, the pie house, the insides look too wide to be the insides of that super skinny house as seen from the outside. The bedroom has a full bed and space to walk in front of it, but on the outside the house looks too narrow to fit that bed in there like that.
I agree, there's no way that is the inside of that house. The rooms are far too wide!
The rooms and stuff are all in the basement 🥴😂😂😂
They did say one end of the house was 3 meet wide and then widened to 20 feet at the other end.
Easy to miss the first fact SAID, not shown: the pie-shaped house us a wide wedge if 3'x20' (that us as wide as my 20x30' cottage built in 1940 Florida). Wouldn't be remarkable if they showed an aerial view from Google earth.
Pay attention next time
In the area where we live there was a small village that has a Dome-shaped house on main street. Trust me, it made me bat an eyebrow when I fist saw it. Now we pass by it once in a while. :)
Dome homes has the wrong video and sound combo. The video shows us homes made from dumpsters. The audio describes round concrete domes.
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
#4 is just The Flintstones
And then #3 turns out to be The Flintstones
A house for little people!
They'll go blind for sitting too close to the TV.
I am sitting an arm's length away from my TV / computer monitor and I have not gone blind yet. 🤔
@@TheGuyThatEveryoneIgnores it happens over time do you wear blue light blocking glasses to protect your eyes from computer fatigue?
@@christineribone9351 No. I never even heard of blue light blocking glasses. Do they have yellow lenses like the night time driving glasses? Anyhow, we all slowly go blind over time. Our eyes just wear out. I think the "You'll go blind if you sit too close to the TV" thing was made up by parents when the "Hey, you're blocking my view of the TV" thing did not get their kids to move.
@@TheGuyThatEveryoneIgnores The blue light blocking glasses are to protect your eyes from computer and I-phone light. The lens might be tinted slightly blue to identify them from regular glasses.
24 square foot? Should that be 24 square meter?
Tree hous, water tower house or hobbit house.
A big puff of wind could blow that house over.
I'm just here checking to see if there's any comments on the dude building extra floors on that building 🫨
Haven’t seen any lol that was crazy how he did it
A pie house is in West Hartford CT !
Where I have family in Hartford and I visit at least once every year
👀 😳 🤔
That ain’t no house that’s a wall.
#13 The Cain (in the tree) I’m positive I saw one built like that on the tv show “Alaskan Bush People “by Billy Brown’s son Bear.
'Dome Homes'...literally just a dumpster.
Why show the inside of not the house you are talking about?
😊👍
Is this guy saying “dome?” Or “dump?” Sounds like dome which are earthquake, tornado, etc… proof. But he is showing a dump and saying dome. I’m confused 🤦♀️
Wait do people still go around selling magazines subscriptions and vacuum cleaners door to door , I mean is that a problem people still have this in day and age.
The s house would have been nice if its on a scenery locations
The Porcelain House isn't really a house, though. It's just a tourist attraction.
pfff a centipede walked over my feet while I was taking a shower a month ago... a week before that I was walking barefoot and stepped on a small scorpion...
All these people laughing at things.
Done home is incorrect . They are dumpster homes … close but not the same
I like centipedes
Dome home looks like a dumpster. 😟
The Hobbit House is the best!!!!
Stick the threat of centipede
first house is a tardis
don’t believe the outside is the inside.
Thats awesome but small spaces don't always drive people crazy some people find it comforting
#20 - In my city it would sell for over one million.
😂😂😂
House fans will you go to heaven? Ever lie, steal, used God's name as a curse word (O-M-G)? Still think your good? According to God's law, you're guilty. Wait, God loves you, he made a way out.
