This song is criminally underrated, it fits Richard's upbeat turned psycho personality perfectly. Like the cracks in her facade of being kind, slipping through like the changes to the beat of the song. As well as the creepy twisted undertone of the song. Hinting to something sinister that's just beneath the surface
This is such a fitting theme for Richard. On the surface, upbeat and innocuous; but with disconcerting and sinister undertones throughout that sometimes jump out and overpower the rest of the music. Much like Richard herself; puts up a veneer of being friendly and charismatic, but you can just tell there's something off with her, and she confirms those suspiscions when she reveals her true manipulativeness, malevolence, and psychopathy.
@@yourfavoritejojo5235 Bon Homme Richard. The main antagonist of this event (and the Kronstadt event too I think but I missed out on that one unfortunately).
Bon Homme Richard is a psychopaths psychopath. Compared to her Roon is a rocket scientist, Taihou has no emotional issues, and Akagi is a philanthropist. Roon was my first Oath and my best. I don't need the drama.
There's just something about Bon Homme Richard. She's no doubt creepy and dangerous, but you always feel like there's something so much more behind her.

I think it's the other way around, if you read the operation siren files, the melancholic piano notes hint there's something really sad behind her psychotic personality, especially that the distorted chorus mutes the piano while the upbeat background electronics play in background for both parts, it's more like her cheerful, sociable personality was distorted into a crazy, manipulative psychopathy
In real life, an American Essex Class Aircraft Carrier. Ingame, the ship is an anthropomorphic ship girl who has embraced the METAmorphic state and finally went insane against the Azur Lane. A real menace in the game when This event dropped.
According to the games lore she is from the original timeline. It seems that during a training exercise she caused an accident which caused her cube to originate or basically become META. The meta cubes all originate from the dame source; some sort of reality bending matter that adheres to both the positive and negative qualities of humanity. When Bonbon embraced those negative qualities she transformed.

@@LunarBloodRose27 So some of this is speculation on my part but with some of the information we can gleam from the events and Operation Siren we can kinda piece together some uhh lore. The original timeline seems to be some time in the future with the world's technology being pretty futuristic. Something caused the appearance of Wisdom Cubes which seem to come from this meteorite that just crashed into the planet/sea. Two scientists were doing hella research on them. One is Dr. Anzeel, the creator of the Shipgirls or KANSEN. The other is Dr. Aoste the creator of the sirens. It seems that at some point there was a shipgirl named Bon Homme Richard. Something happened which caused her to go META. Implied to be an accident. Evens seem to suggest that shipgirls go META when hit with despair/lust for power.

Wait wait, did she really say this? (EDIT: rewatched the cutscenes. Yes, she does.)

Scares the Sirens too
And not for reasons we should be happy about

her story in short: never push a nice person too far, because the nicest people can be the worst kinds of holes when they've had enough

That's the scariest Loli that has existed
It was a treat for this to also play on D3's boss.
So the other similar theme we heard in Abyssal Refrain would be Kronstadt's Theme right? Shouldn't that be correct?
Sounds like remix of Boss Theme from Abyssal Refrain.
Gonna use this when Bel’veth comes out in League
Janus is so damn cute
Criminally underrated
Total banger 🔥
I wonder what will happen if she met her older sisters especially Essex
How about The Jackdaw?
Ot the Aquilla?
