Just realised you live close to me when I spotted the Croft Borough council sign, I’m in Golborne. It looked like great fun, I knew most of your route 😊
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. Yeah, we had a really good laugh on this one. The route was really nice and the others especially enjoyed it because most of it was new to them. Happy cycling...👍🏻
That's brilliant, I'm so glad we entertained you with this one. Before the trip we set up a WhatsApp group and called it "Carry on Camping". It turned out to be very apt...🤣 Thanks for watching and commenting. All the best from Kenneth Williams (Thomo was Sid James, Rob was Terry Scott and Martin was Bernard Bresslaw)
Hi Steven, yeah it was a great little adventure. The cafe at the farm does great home cooked food at very reasonable prices and it's a wonderful setting. Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy cycling...🚴🏻♂️
Loving your videos. Im new to cycling but my husband has been road cycling for years. We are having a go at gravel biking and your videos are giving us loads of great ideas for trips.
Thanks very much Julie, I'm pleased to hear that you are getting some ideas for trips from my videos. Thanks also for watching and commenting. Happy cycling to you both...🚴🏻♂️🚴♀️
Thanks a lot. Yeah, it's a nice little place. Not an official campsite, mainly an outdoor cafe. Good food at reasonable prices. Perfect...👍🏻 Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting, I'm glad you enjoyed this one. It was fun making the video. All the best from the Old Bloke on a Bike...🚴🏻♂️
Brilliant, I'm so glad we entertained you with all the mayhem of the camp. They are a great bunch of friends and I feel privileged to share these experiences with them. Thanks for watching and your kind comments...👍🏻
I really enjoyed all the clowning around at the campsite. Your mates are a lot of fun, and good sports. Thanks so much for finding that wall! Made my day. Thank you, friend!
Hi Josh, I'm glad you enjoyed all the fun of our little bikepacking trip. Yeah, the guys are a great bunch to ride with and camp with. A very enjoyable trip and we were blessed with decent weather. All the best, Dave
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. Yeah, it was such a funny evening, I still laugh now when I think about it. I'm glad you enjoyed all the mayhem. All the best, Dave
Hi Paul, as you saw, we had a real belly laugh making this one, with all the mayhem at the camp. It was a bit like "Carry on Camping". I was Kenneth Williams, Thomo was Sid James, Rob was Terry Scott and Martin was Bernard Bresslaw. All the best, Dave
Thanks very much. Yeah, it was a very enjoyable couple of days with my cycling buddies. Just watched your NC500 video - excellent, especially the advice section, as I'm bikepacking this route in early September. I've subscribed to your channel and gonna have a look at your back catalogue. All the best, Dave.
I'm sorry but I don't think it is possible to put any attachments on RUclips. You can look at the route on my Strava account listed under David Benson, Warrington. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching the video...👍🏻
Hi Matt, thanks for watching my channel. I hope you liked this latest video with all the shenanigans at the camp...🤣 Yeah, Josh is a good guy and produces some great videos. All the best, Dave...🚴🏻♂️
My tent has to be 2 man so I've got room to put some stuff in next to me, self supporting so I don't need to bother with pegs most nights and side opening so (don't tell anyone) I can roll over and have a pee at night.
Hi Randel, I've seen your tent on your bikepacking videos, and I remember thinking it looked pretty good, especially as you don't have to peg it in. Here in the UK it would blow away without pegging it in, as I'm sure you know we have pretty poor weather a lot of the time, not the settled stuff you have over there. Bye the way, your secret about peeing out the side of the tent is safe with me, I won't tell anyone...🤣 Thanks very much for watching and commenting. Happy cycling 🚴🏻♂️

Hi there. Thanks for watching and commenting...👍🏻
Can you put a map of your route please? Can't see how to get from great Budworth to Whitegate way and to your cafe, then campsite.
I'm sorry but I don't think it is possible to put any attachments on RUclips.
You can look at the route on my Strava account listed under David Benson, Warrington.
I hope that helps.
Thanks for watching the video...👍🏻
Thanks for mentioning my friend Josh. He's a good man. He turned me on to your channel.
Hi Matt, thanks for watching my channel. I hope you liked this latest video with all the shenanigans at the camp...🤣

You and your mates are like a northern version of us London plonkers!😂😅😊 Or I unfortunately should say, 'was', as the others have given up!😢
Ha ha, that's funny hearing the term "plonker", it reminds me of Del Boy...🤣
So, Thomos one is bigger than yours?!?😢😂😅
Ha ha, yeah and he's got a bigger tent too...🤣
Nice video 👍 are you bringing the chair on the next trip?
Thanks Si.
I've got a tiny sit mat but Thomo will be bringing his "luxury item".
My tent has to be 2 man so I've got room to put some stuff in next to me, self supporting so I don't need to bother with pegs most nights and side opening so (don't tell anyone) I can roll over and have a pee at night.

@davidbenson735 I do wonder what other tenters do when it comes to late night peeing, especially if it's raining etc, bit of a taboo subject.
Requested to follow on RUclips then I can get some new route ideas. I hope you don’t mind
No problem, you are very welcome...👍🏻
Hopefully you'll get some useful route ideas.
All the best.
