- Part 2 of my visit to Matt Macduffs crazy mtb big air compound and the plan is to ride the full line of big jumps! Warming up with a few runs on the airbag behind his house whilst the wind is blowing, will it give us a break so we can hit the 75ft beasts? Find out and enjoy the madness?

Be so good to hear how you guys set up the bikes for big jumps like this. I run Norco shore 1. 3 volume spacers in fox 38s and 600lb spring, FR541 rims with hydras. 6.3” tall. How do you set up compression and rebounds? Should do an in-depth on suspension set up. And handle bar heights, stack your experiences with it.

There was a kid ten or so years ago in Loops that got POD on pinkbike a few times for doing tsunamis where his feet were well over his head. Like an actual wave crashing.

I know it would be out the ass expensive but would it be worth it to do one of those big air up domes they use for soccer complexes over top of that big ass jump? Go right in the one side and out the other. Remove the wind from play. Not sure if he ever plans on doing a contest there but if sponsors come into play it might be worth it?
