Great vlog George & Sue, thank you. Love Larnaca Airport, not too big, always nice and clean. Our last trip from there in May this year unfortunately I had to use the airport assistance, they were fantastic. The guy who wheeled me around even took me to the sandwich shop to buy something before my flight. Very efficient and kind. They put Heathrow Airport to shame, as there assistance was diabolical.
Glad to here is doing well, shame about heathrow, travelling it's not so straught forward now days any more stress is not needed. Hope you are back here soon.

There are some but they close early.
P.s don't know if you noticed but you happened to film the AEK Athens football team walking around the airport at the end haha

Hobnob! Been waiting ages on thar one for a full house on George Bingo 👍 Only ever flown via Paphos Airport, can't believe how much bigger Larnaca is, food and drink seem to be similar, £19 for a haloumi burger! Hope you had a great holiday ✈️
Sorry that don't sound right £19 for a halloumi burger is way out , I live in Larnaca and here you can get a fully loaded submarine sandwich for €5 and a pitta of souvlaki for €6.50 .
I know pafos is probably more expensive but come on .
@@roddychristodoulou9111 Hi, it was the price of the burger at the airport George was talking about, same at Paphos airport, rip off! Prices in Larnaca and Paphos restaurants are all very decent prices 👍

Ha, I got very confused coming to Larnaca in 2016 and it wasn’t the same building as I’d been used to. However it’s a lovely building and so well organised.
Yes caught us out 1st time too, we thought we was at wrong place.
@@CYPRUSINSIGHT can only wish I’d been warned. There’s one thing I do miss is going on the roof to watch the aeroplanes at the old building.

Yes new terminal is amazing.
It's a pretty decent airport. Even got smoking area. But should have otc medicine like nasal spray for flights etc. Was there earlier this summer.

Went through Departures on 30/07/22 after 10days in Protaras so all very familiar, Mask wearing was in force but most didn't bother that's tourists and locals. Is Mask wearing still in force a month on?
I have a suggestion George, people trying to return a hire car at the airport there is a Petrol Station just off the roundabout ''Petrolina' could you do a fill up procedure as it's 24h and no attendant outside normal hours, the machine to pay with card or cash is so weird looks like a very small slot machine machine 'nestled between the pumps' that I would imagine some just return the hire car and get charged, its the most unusual filling procedure I've ever experienced with a queue of people trying to work it out from various nations and nationalities. Edit just seen your refuel video, which definitely helps, but that one at the Airport looks more like a slot machine.

I live in Cyprus and can tell you they've dropped mandatory mask wearing and made it optional , we used to live in London and by the looks of things back home moving to Cyprus was that gets thing we've ever done .

Hiii , i am an indian , i have short stay schengen visa. I booked self transfer flight from tlv to larnaca and from there to vienna with a layove off ,7 hours . I never did a self transfer. To take my another flight , whats the process, plz let em know
