Ever wonder how Warner Bros. introduced to us the movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling Book Series - Harry Potter?
In this video, I compiled each Title Sequence to all 8 Movie adaptation of my favorite Book Series to see how dark, creepy, sad, and however you felt during the start of each movie.

I love how the movies went from light hearted to dark and scary
well the first intro was already pretty dark in my opinion
Goblet of fire has always been my personal favourite intro. I just like the theme feels like the instruments feel off putting. It feels dissonant from the other 3 which does make sense from the dramatic jump in tone, even more than azkaban.
4:52 Listen very closely to this one. You can hear the barking of Sirius Black in his dog form.
No fucking way, the more you watch the movies, you more you catch on the little things......
9:08 the first time I saw the movie when I was 9 I don't know why but just with that music it gave me the feeling that someone important in this movie was going to die. I didn't even know about the existence of the books and I was surprised that someone important died. And the same music plays in a part of Dumbledore's farewell which made me remember how the logo was already preparing me for what was going to happen. I don't know why a piece of music managed to convey that feeling to me. Seriously, I LOVE half-blood prince.
yes musical score is very important in all movies, imagine replacing the theme song to like my heart will go on, hahaha. I like Half Blood too, it prepares us of a Harry who thinks.
Many people think the prisoner of Azkaban was where the film series was starting to get dark but I disagree I found the third film to be very lighthearted like first two films it was a little bit more intense then the first one but but it was at the same level of intensity as the second film but that was because the third film was amid to more kids like the first two films in my opinion the film series started getting dark around the goblet of fire due Voldemort’s full essence of returning and the goblet of fire was more less lighthearted then the first 3 films and it was amid to more adults then kids in my opinion
For me Azkaban is the bridge from baby to teen. They need to be dark at Goblet because of the introduction of Voldemort.
I just want to say I really like the new direction that Nicholas Hooper gave to the music. He immediately establishes it in this opening to the fifth one. It feels connected to the other ones, but also darker, more grown up, determined, but still fun. I think it really fits.

Going to wizard school at age 11 was just the beginning. Mcgnagall was one of the best teachers Harry Potter ever had.
A Muggle home in London. Voldemort must of spent months looking Harry Potter.
It's been so many since since the 1st one. Each movie was darker then the last.
Harry Potter's uncle and aunt moved out of the house he grew up in.
Indeed the you could seperate the movies into 4 different sections. First two were most lighthearted, the next 2 started to get more dark/actors clearly grew into teenagers. Then the next 2 were even darker with deaths of 2 major characters and the last two ofc you can almost feel like they are going against impossible odds
Part 7.2 is the most epic one

never had a favourite besides maybe film 4 opening and theme as like 3 its a more dark and dramatic shift but then deathly hallows last one absolutely knocked it out the park though i love half blood prince as it depicts harrys feelings very well and is almost muted very well done

It just looked cool to Alfonso C. In the book, i believe harry just uses a flashlight or torch to read. Intentional movie mistake , you just kinda gotta ignore it in favor of it looking amazing

He's the minister of magic. He's shouting about how the government in the wizarding word remains strong even though Voldermort is back and they live in dark times.
