Hi There, May i know what sugar you use for making the jam . Was it coarse Sugar? Can i also use Vanilla Essence / Flavouring instead of Extract for the dough? Can i replace unsalted butter with Planta Margerine because my mom is butter intolerance :( Thank u !

It is used in a variety of baking recipes and desserts. It has an appearance similar to honey, and is often used as a substitute by people who do not eat corn syrup. ( Lyle's Golden Syrup is a popular brand or any cane sugar golden syrup is fine too)This recipe makes about 960 to 980 grams of Pineapple Jam. if you are going to make the enclosed version, it will yield about 96 pieces.
This is the REALl jam! Grated and cooked the right way, and the texture is nice, unlike the smooth commercial ones.

It depend on the pineapple ripeness. You can start with 1/2 of the sugar & adjust from there onward.
