    Maddie is just PURE CLASS! She is such a humble, decent, and so gracious a person. iT IS EASY TO JUST LOVE HER! I have watched her thru all her years in tennis, and never gave up hope on her that she would one day become a champion. What ever caused her to be nervous and falter in yrs passed, is now a thing of the passed. She never, had any monkey on her back, ever. She is such a class. I am so happy to have witnessed her winning the major, that i can not even go back to sleep, today yet. And I do need my rest, but my aging 70yr old body is just not feeling tired after watching Maddie (the giant killer), become a champion for real. I always wanted this for her, and now that it has happen, I have great hope for GOODNESS! This IS PROOF again to me that, THE MEEK will inherit the world. Thank you MADDIE!

    We’re learning a lot about Laura Robson in this tournament - emotional for her friend but always contributing smart tennis punditry in the middle of it. Has a good sense of humour with the camera lingering on her watching the points. Fantastic coverage. This is the way it should be done. Well done to all the eurosport team.

    Laura is a great friend. She was supportive of Madi despite Sabalenka being the favourite. I am so so happy for Madison. Madi had the toughest draw of the tournament in beating no.1 and no. 2. She had to beat three top 10 players and top 20 opponents to get through to this incredible achievement. She literally did the impossible. She fought and overcame all the negative mindset of the past. This win is not just about winning a slam but about overcoming her dark side. I love Madi's journey. Such a hard worker. Enjoy this one. It was tough and well earned. Her serving was impressive. Not a single double fault. Forehand was firing. Now rest up because you're going to be doing a lot of winning this year. I wish you good health. If Madison is healthy, she will win Wimbledon. No one will be able to touch her phenomenal serve or forehand on that surface. Keep on shining queen!

      In general it’s old in tennis years. That’s why the last question to Keys at the press conference was about Zverev. He’s 28 or going to be 28 this year and everyone expected to him to win one by now. He’s in the exact same situation she was.

    Now she can play 5 more years for the icing on the cake. She doesn’t have to win but now she has this win in her pocket- no one can take it away from her. Her obituary 60 or more years from now will start “ Grand Slam winner Madison Keys…” she too great a striker of the ball not to have that win in her pocket book. Aryna didn’t has as be to win to cement her legend. Love Couriers “ we are retired tennis players not impartial journalist” too funny but so right. Chrissie I’m sure is beaming.

      She was good once. Just never had the (relative) luck with injuries that keys did. Not sure she would make slam finals but she was better than konta, watson etc

      @priyaravindran6150 18 часов назад

      Why would she need the publicity when she has been an analyst and commentator both on Eurosport and Tennis channel for years now? She is also an Olympics mixed doubles silver medalist; she’s not a nobody. If you google Keys and Robson, you will be able to read that both have known each other since their junior years, and they both trained at the Evert academy in Florida. She was also invited to Madi’s wedding, as were her parents, who were also sitting in Madi’s player’s box, so it’s obvious they are close.
