I’m a quilter and I am determined to make me a wreath!!! When I seen this one, I said yes!!!! I have a product that will help give body to your fabric but also will keep it from fraying, It’s called Terial Magic! It’s a stabilizer for fabric. I found the fabric that I’m goin to make my wreath with and I’m so excited!!!! Thank you so much for your time. Get you some of this and try it then let us know what you think of it!

I have SO many sets of 10” quilting squares from when I worked on quilting. They are beautiful fabrics that come from the same designer. I am very excited to find another way to use them! I also have YARDS of beautiful fabric that I haven’t known how to use. THANK YOU so much for this tutorial. If I can figure out how to send you pictures, I will do that!👍

I haven't even finished watching this video, but I can tell already, this is something I have to make. Being a quilter/sewer/fabricaholic, I have more fabric than I can ever use, I even have several layer cakes, which would be perfect for this. Instead of having to spray the fabric several times, you could use an iron on inner facing on the back of the fabric to give it body, and hold its shape. I always enjoy your videos, and this one is my new favorite. Thank You for taking the time to share your creativity. Judging from the way the cut edge of the fabric looks, you are using a pinking blade to cut out the squares.

I love the idea of the fabric...I asked in another comment I left today ( been watching lots of you videos!) if fabric could be used and I found this one! My daughter is 33 and she has two girls ages 2+ and 5 months....I was cleaning my attic out recently and found my daughter’s entire matching crib set ( minus the blanket she carried it so long she destroyed it lol) it’s all in pristine condition🥰 .....I’ve been trying to think of something I could make for the girls out of the fabric....I’m not one who sews but think this would be adorable maybe using some pink tool ( sp?) with the fabric..... I think I have enough to make a small one for each of her girls rooms....even a really small one for the top of a keepsake box or decorate the front of a basket....wanted to save something...,can’t throw it away! Thank you for sharing and inspiring me to use the crib set I just found❤️😊kim

You don’t change the size of the petals just the amount of petals needed. You will also do at least one extra layer of petals to make it so your middle doesn’t have to be so big.

If you had a styrofoam disc for the center you could cut the contrasting fabric into small squares (3" - 5"), put them on the end of a blunt pencil, or knitting needle, put a dab of glue in the center, then poke it into the styrofoam.

What type of fabric do I get to do this, quilting, cotton?

I’m not really sure what exactly what I used, it was not a see through fabric so a quilters fabric would be great for this wreath.

The heavy cottons, outdoor or home dec/ upholstery fabrics would hold up well. Starch the cottons first, they will not be as floppy.
