This is an excellent narrative of the behind the scenes political process of establishing and influencing authoritative power. We normally imagine a few gangsters slipping envelopes to beat-cops, but this explains nitty-gritty, bare-knuckle, nuts and bolts of true power and authority.
Thanks a lot! Took some effort but if you thought this was something series 3 will have Harry S Truman, Carlos Marcello, Kefauver, Luciano and a lot more..
How did the pronunciation get so butchered? Is it AI? I've never heard anyone pronounce "Capone" as "Caponi" before - that seems like something a robot would do.
Some of the names are pronounced wrong in my documentaries. They are too long for me to voice for example my Luciano doc is 21 hours long. So it has to be an ai Voice. Al Capone's name is actually pronounced correctly. It's an Italian name and the way you heard it was pronounced the American way not Italian. If you know any Italians and tell them to pronounce the name they will pronounce it that way. ( Italians in Italy who are fluent in their language ) Another RUclips Channel called OG Shortz has a video about Italian names and how they are meant to be pronounced.
@@HistoryAndOrganisedCrime1919 You would go nuts trying to pronounce street names in L.A. In America, we don't always pronounce words the way they are pronounced in the native language - most Americans wouldn't even know how to pronounce words of French origin in the same way as they are pronounced by the French. If you insist on doing things the way you're doing them, you're basically inventing your own private language, so don't expect others to agree with your unique pronunciation guide.
@@zuckfacegobbels4527 I openly stated I used AI as the documentaries are to long for me to voice. My Luciano doc is 21 Hours long my next one on Costello Series 3 is about 6 or 7 hours long. My accent is also difficult to understand. Using AI means a lot more people can understand the history I'm talking about.
lots of good new info on connections btwn politicians & organized crime but slipping btwn decades, confusing 30s & 50s, makes this unserious as HISTORY In addition, the narrator slips into an 'unknown language' too often otherwise E for effort as Larry David would say

@@HistoryAndOrganisedCrime1919 Yes Your Right my Bad I Deleted that Comment Sorry!
Lot's of images of Vito Genovese.
The video quality is incredibly poor. Too bad.
I still got a lot of improving to do when it comes to editing

Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders just got back from Miquelon in my binge-watch.
Series 5 I believe When he travels up there after the end of bootlegging. The island fell back into disrepair. The Crazy thing is Im from Small Heath
I just watched it as well. I know he killed michael there in last season. Cant rem if it was season 5 when he first went.
Either terrible AI, or a strange narrator.
The AI just goes rogue sometimes my apologies
