i had no idea that Robert Louis Stevenson was such an incredible writer. i do like literary stories and novels, but i haven’t read anything this heavy in a long time. so i really appreciate your readings. it is so incredible to feel the way i do. it’s a bit like reading Dostoyevski, but what comes to mind is the feeling i had when saw my first Ingmar Bergman - “Through a Glass Darkly”. 🌷🥀🌱
This production of Robert Louis Stevenson's amazing "Story of the Young Man w/the Cream Tarts" is flawless in its narration. Thanks, Gates of Imagination.
You should definitely listen to the rest of the adventures of Prince Florizel and a Detective in the series of "The Suicide Club": ruclips.net/p/PLFA6HwSbUABpI8VodWJjWdxIHXJ2lB_ev and "The Rajah's Diamond": ruclips.net/p/PLFA6HwSbUABoM2wL7-xxsXiB5j-6vE7eM
This is a surprising story from mr. Stevenson. I enjoyed it. The strange characters draw you in. I only knew Stevenson from Jekyll and Hyde and Treasure Island. I didn't expect this from him. Nice choice for a story, and excellent narration as well.

Too many commercials!!! One of them a minute from the end. Can’t you group them differently?😢

Great narrator!
That was deep. Prophetic. It kept me enthralled every moment until the end.

A very interesting story. Excellent reading. Thank you🙂
There's a wonderful movie with Louis Hayward, Robert Montgomery & Rosiland Russell from the 30's called, Two of a Kind. It's a movie of this story.
Thanks for the movie recommendation. It’s a good one. 1:00:46
I think the movie you are referring to is call Trouble for Two.
These stories are delightful! Thank you for telling us at the end which story comes next. Thank you for a marvelous narration. 1:00:46
I only knew his novels . What a surprise ! ❤️🥰
There are great descriptive words in this play which makes it easier to picture the settings. I like the biblical content also. Wonderful ❤❤❤❤
That was fantastic. Not at all what I was expecting.

Is Arthur still a part of this channel?
Course he is! Recently, he recorded novels and short stories about Sherlock Holmes: ruclips.net/p/PLFA6HwSbUABp8ZV5ntYR4FRT5SjqFdQ1R
@@gatesofimagination thank you
The narrator has a fine voice but he needn't race through the story at breakneck speed. Where's the fire?
