Wow, they scare themselves a lot more than the game, this proves that atmospheric horror is scarier than jumpscares. I keep trying to see what's scaring them that I'm starting to see things
Atmosphere plays a huge part to horror games. But also always being on edge in these games makes them ten times scarier even if they aren't scary. I cannot tell you how many times I have been jumpscared playing Siege just because of someone appearing seemingly out of nowhere because I am tense because of the nature of Search and Destroy style games.
This game is a "bit" more scary than Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, but I'm proud of you two for braving it for Pero's sake! Thanks for the stream! BAU BAU
We didn't get too far in the Backrooms today but I still enjoyed the little moments of levity in the pause menu! Maybe the Backrooms were too much of a scary jump from Spooky's mansion... There is legitimately absolutely nothing in these rooms, and there hasn't been anything for the entire 20-30 minutes thus far. But the anxiety and paranoia of what might be lurking behind the corners or in the darker rooms has caused FuwaMoco to start imagining things that aren't there. The Backrooms were never scary because of legitimate monsters; they were scary because there *weren't* any monsters. Just you, and endless, empty hallways.

If your not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, You'll end up in the backrooms, Where it's nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, The madness of mono-yellow, The endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum humbuzz, And approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, cause it sure as hell as heard you.
I'm proud of you for trying your best Moco-chan! But please know that it's always more important to take care of your health and keep yourself safe. If you start feeling like you're really not okay physically, please stop right away and don't let the Ruffians or Fuwawa pressure you into continuing. It would hurt our smiles much, much more if something happened to you!
Don't feel bad, Mococo! I used to be super afraid of things in non-horror games too, and even now I'd say I'm still a pretty cautious gamer. At some point, I had to ask myself which was scarier: facing the threat directly, or turning my eyes away and having it surprise me, and I decided that the second option was scarier. If I was ever uncertain if an enemy was waiting for me behind a door, one strange thing that helped me was convincing myself that the enemy IS waiting for me, but I'm going to open the door anyways. It always helps me brace myself for the worst. I stay focused on what the enemy is going to do, and how I will respond. Even if I fail, the worst that happens is that I have to try again. It may be frustrating, but at least I have more information about how the enemy operates, which makes it less scary the second time around. Also, this may be a little embarrassing, but listening to battle music from shounen anime helps psyche myself up sometimes. During a fight-or-flight scenario, it helps convert some of that Flight into Fight. Go take as much time as you need to rest, and we can try again whenever you're ready.
The more fear you feel, the greater opportunity for bravery! If you are never scared of anything, you can never be brave, because bravery is when you push through and continue despite the fear! Fuwamoco did just that as much as they possibly could, so I'd say they showed EXTREME BRAVERY (BAUVERY)!!!! Next time maybe they will find even more! BAU BAU!!!
That was quite a stream! I'm surprised you chose this one as it is really scary even for people used to horror games. Maybe next time try a less scary games. Like those japanese games every holomem played (Night time delivery, the Starbuck one,...). Or the one where you can only walk in one direction (the creator made a Marine version recently but his first games are more scary. Or even a rpg horror like the one fauna and bae played with the blue dude (way less scary). You gotta start small, doggos !

Found some really disturbing atmosphere in this game. One of the chair with legs "too long" genuinely freaked me out. Felt really wrong. I think they still would be too scared to play it ahah

I kinda knew that they would still have issues getting through the backrooms, but that isn't the reason I watched the stream because there are so many people who have completed the backrooms.

Stomach pain, dizziness, and numbness are pretty much symptoms of a panic attack. So maybe, for FuwaMoco’s sake, they refrain from playing any horror games for a while? I know the phasmophobia collab is tomorrow, but I’m genuinely worried for their health.
I know it’s possible that these two are just playing it up for entertainment, but I get what you mean. I’m also worried that this might not be good for them.
They seem to do better with older members with them and positive peer pressure.

Don't feel bad, Mococo! I used to be super afraid of things in non-horror games too, and even now I'd say I'm still a pretty cautious gamer.
At some point, I had to ask myself which was scarier: facing the threat directly, or turning my eyes away and having it surprise me, and I decided that the second option was scarier.
If I was ever uncertain if an enemy was waiting for me behind a door, one strange thing that helped me was convincing myself that the enemy IS waiting for me, but I'm going to open the door anyways. It always helps me brace myself for the worst. I stay focused on what the enemy is going to do, and how I will respond.
Even if I fail, the worst that happens is that I have to try again. It may be frustrating, but at least I have more information about how the enemy operates, which makes it less scary the second time around.
Also, this may be a little embarrassing, but listening to battle music from shounen anime helps psyche myself up sometimes. During a fight-or-flight scenario, it helps convert some of that Flight into Fight.
Go take as much time as you need to rest, and we can try again whenever you're ready.

The more fear you feel, the greater opportunity for bravery! If you are never scared of anything, you can never be brave, because bravery is when you push through and continue despite the fear! Fuwamoco did just that as much as they possibly could, so I'd say they showed EXTREME BRAVERY (BAUVERY)!!!! Next time maybe they will find even more! BAU BAU!!!
That was quite a stream! I'm surprised you chose this one as it is really scary even for people used to horror games.
Maybe next time try a less scary games. Like those japanese games every holomem played (Night time delivery, the Starbuck one,...). Or the one where you can only walk in one direction (the creator made a Marine version recently but his first games are more scary. Or even a rpg horror like the one fauna and bae played with the blue dude (way less scary). You gotta start small, doggos !

Found some really disturbing atmosphere in this game. One of the chair with legs "too long" genuinely freaked me out. Felt really wrong. I think they still would be too scared to play it ahah
