    Thanks for having me! It was a great game, but sadly my bird was getting basted in preparation for Thanksgiving this match. But hey, this was supposed to be a Halloween-themed match and I think I proved that Teshar was the scariest >:)

    at 7:10 Mana Drain doesn't actually fizzles, it just can't counter the spell but the player WILL add mana to their mana pool at the beginning of their next main phase.
    Mana Drain only fizzles if its target becomes illegal which this isn't the case c:

    I cannot count the times ive just snuck a win in by simply answering threats and keeping a base boardstate. ITs always the quiet ones that will get ya! Great job everyone!

    Poor Teshar - probably should’ve saved that drain for something else

      That entire game featured a lot of internal sobbing on my part (Teshar player)

    Can someone explain why you need the viscera seer in the ballista/mikaeus combo

    • @DeadOnBoardMTG
      @DeadOnBoardMTG  2 года назад +2

      Because mikaues gives the batista +1/+1 statically so with the undying trigger it would only come back with one counter so if it were to ping something it wouldn't die so it needs the sac outlet to reset itself

      @@DeadOnBoardMTG Thanks. I never realized Mikaues gives +1/+1

    My Zaxara Freed does fly under the radar, as it’s pretty slow compare to some other decks. It has tons of wincons so can definitely win out of nowhere.

    I gotta give you my primer for Orvar and you can definitely give that list a go. I’ll hit you up on Discord

      Yeah its a cool commander and I've heard that the stock list I was using needs a few changed

    If your Mana Drain gets "countered" by a Veil of Summer, don't you still get the mana?

    So hidden killed Josh and passed, practically guaranteeing Chris the win?
