i have problem that every time i edit the text tp Game csgo/addons/metamod and click save , it get saved but when i run the sever and type meta it said unknown command ,and i go back to find that Game csgo/addons/metamod got deleated from the text

I have installed the "CS2-Practice-Plugin" from your website, but each time I write .pracc in chat, it keeps saying that I have no admin access to the command (plugin is loaded and installed correctly). which is so frustrating, I been trying for 2 hours now. changing things but idk what to change to give me admin access to it.
You need to add entry in the /addons/counterstrikesharp/configs/admins.json file . Note add your steam id there and give yourself root access. {

Hi, Although I do as described, I get no plugins load error, how can I solve the problem ?
I'm using digitalocean for a linux ubuntu 22.10 x64 droplet, I think I have some libraries issues when I run "meta list", it says unkown command. But I successfully managed to install steamcmd and I'm lost on what's the issue here, I did everything in this video. What kind of packages do I need to install?
I'm not sure, as we only run it directly in Pterodactyl, sorry. You can find a guide for Installing Pterodactyl on my channel, and you can use this egg for CS2 - github.com/1zc/CS2-Pterodactyl

However, I'm using debian 11 from digital ocean, and installing cs2 game files are working fine, I have installed some required packages too (maybe I missed some), when I install metamod, and run "meta list" the command is found, but when I add sourcemod, and run "css_plugins list", it says unknown command. Did I miss something?
@@NoxianWill I’m not sure. I updated the instructions on the Counter Strike Sharp GitHub docs of what packages may need to be installed. Make sure you have them. If that doesn’t work I’m not sure sorry.

@@percys1575 Try to reinstall metamod and counter strike sharp under the necessary operating system, taking into account that for windows you need to install Visual Studio Redistributables. After the correct installation, try to install plugins not from the site on the video, but from hlmod
Every time i put Game csgo/addons/metamod in it just automatically dissapears when i restart the server and the console doesn't recognize "meta" command. Please help.
You need to disable "validate" when you're starting your server.

did everything but when i put plugins the server runs fine then when i run the game it says : Cappsystemdict:Unable to create interface Source2ServerConfig001 from server (Dependency of application) any fix to this ?

How to make yourself server admin?
I'm trying to search for the answer all over the internet but I can't seem to find a reason why I only see empty folders and no files after connecting to my server's FTP 😅 Could you maybe point me in the right direction?
This is something you would need to contact your host about to be honest, as it's different for everyone. I would double-check you're not connecting to a path but the root directory (example instead of 192.168.0.1/game/csgo you would just connect to 192.168.0.1)

The skins plugin doesnt work, it does say plugin loaded but when u type !ws nothing happens, are u aware of any other skin plugins that work with sharp? if not any solutions?
You will need to contact the author of the plugin. There are no menus in CS2 so keep that in mind. You may need to look in chat.
@@GhostCapGaming That makes a lot of sense since non of the skin servers use a menu, its all inspect links ' !i ' or gen codes, well that complicates it quite a bit i've had no issues in csgo but everyone is running custom scripts in cs2. Oh well ill try to see if i can find a fix thanks for responding.

Make sure you installed the developer version of metamod, make sure its for the correct OS, and double check your gameinfo file has been modified.

@@heud_csgo The latest version of CS2 broke Metamod. I suggest using build 1275 of Metamod and testing that.

Correct, Sourcemod is old and dead these days.

@@GhostCapGaming just tried admin commands and commands like !ban and !slay are also not working, i think "!" is not being recognized
@@t.etelber8230 Those commands are not stock in Counter Strike Sharp. It doesn't come with bloat like sourcemod. You want to install a mod like CS2 Simple Admin.

Not really no. You can have bots on a dedicated server though, just make sure the game mode is set to casual :)
Is there any other way to try this with bots without a server?
In CS1 there was a way through the Migi application, but it does not work on CS2

What OS are you on? Make sure you're installing the With Runtime version.

I installed Metamod and CSS separately, and even installed a separate plugin from MatchZy - which also contains CSS.
The result is the same Meta works, CSS doesn't

@@GhostCapGaming Yes I did that already. It still doesn’t work. I’ll add that I’m not new to this either. I’ve been running counter strike servers since 2006. I never had any issues at all running metamod on CSGO except when occasionally Valve would break it with an upgrade. Also, the whole reason I came to RUclips (which I never do) was because I followed the Metamod documentation with no luck.
So, woke up this morning, updated CS2 dedicated server, and updated metamod, and now it magically works. Beats me man.

Double check youre running the latest metamod dev version and that its the correct version for your Linux or Windows server.
Focus on getting that running first.

@@sixtic It 100% works for everyone, unless you've installed it incorrectly, or you have issues with your server hosting.

@@sixtic If they don't already have a Metamod installer built in, then it's probs best to try another provider 😂. This is a very basic thing for CS2 servers to have these days.
Just reach out to their support and ask why it doesnt work.

I have problem when load plugin,
meta load counterstrikesharp
Failed to load plugin addons/counterstrikesharp/bin/win64/counterstrikesharp (The specified module could not be found.
).
CounterStrikeSharp should load automatically as long as Metamod is working. Double check you have the correct version for your operating system and its the with-runtime version.
If you're on Windows you will need to install: Visual Studio Redistributables
