Sir I have a doubt. Why we are putting z=0 instead of that either we put x=0 or y=0.did the answers correct?
Equation will not be same because by puting z=0, we get a point from which line passes, but by putting x=0 or y=o we will get another point from which line passes, but the direction ratio will be same , equation may be different but line would be same

sir by putting z=0 we have ensured that line passes through a point which has z coordinate as 0 but what if in actual the line was parallel to xz plane such that it has it never has z coordinate as 0
i thought possible explanation to this is that we have the freedom to choose the 3 axis so we can make the line have a coordinate z=0 by a suitable assumption of the axes.
so am i right
Yes u can take any of the corrdinate, if it not pass through z=0 than equation will not to be obtained

No you can put other value also but this will make easier to put z = 0, because line can pass through infinte point, you can put any value of your choice
